That is true what Greta said about children. The the longer you do it like if you did it for a week it takes almost a week and to two weeks to get them to stop. If you've done it for 2 months it usually takes 4 months to 6 months to get them to stop. If you've done it for over a year or two it can take another year to get them to stop. It takes dedication and perseverance. Best thing to do is, don't spoil them to begin with.

1. Find a man who it level headed and IN YOUR LEAGUE. The more out of your league he is, the less respect you'll get because the male has options better than you. (this goes both ways) 2. Be upfront from the beginning as to what are your no fly zones. Usually no swearing at each other, no silent treatment, treat me like you want to be treated. 3. Set rules. I know this is a hard one but people must understand when entering a partnership, you're no longer single and sacrifices WILL HAVE TO BE MADE BY BOTH PARTIES. 4. Respect yourself. If you don't have respect for yourself, how do you expect others to respect you. Workout, eat clean, have time to meditate, have goals, etc. 5. Give respect to your man. This is something that is so uncommon today. But you must give respect in order to gain respect.

Excellent advice. Men run across this “shit testing” from women so often in US culture that there are books on how to deal with it. There are even those that think women are biologically hardwire to do it. The advice given here, is very similar. He's being a hypocrite. He said he was fine with it and then suddenly wasn't. You need to call him out on his behavior . It would be best if he was willing to listen. If he doesn't best to get a couple counsellor to help mediate between you guys or a friend who is very good with mediation :) doesn't stand on anyone's side but help to see both sides and bring that message across to the other party. All 3 speaking together if he doesn't want to listen or if there are too strong emotions. :)

1) "he raises his voice at you" notice how that misses whether it is warranted. which is disrespectable. "excuse me? please don't talk to me this way" that presumes it wasn't warranted, which ironicly means it likely was. this is literally trying to use dog training. 2)women taking responcibility for bad behavior? uncommon. 3) 'if a guy is presumptive, reply in a jokey way' that just makes you look stupid. "she is not a sex machine, not a pizza delivery" most women are to most men. not because of the men, but because the women don't offer anything else of value, which leads it to be a customer/business relationship. like take that joke which makes you harder to respect "i hear the yellow pages are good for that". it isn't playful, or humorous, or even dry. it is just a deadpan comment. 4) 'remove yourself from the situation' this doesn't promote respect. but it is good advice. removing yourself from toxic people, like those who engage in manipulative behavior (point 1), or trying to get respect by posturing disrespectable conduct (point 3) can most easily be remedied by litterally leaving. he will realize "when i'm disrespectful, she isn't spending time with me", there is a presumption that company while not having sex has value to the guy, but that isn't necessarily the situation. if you have an unplesant personality, then removing yourself reinforces and encourages the behavior. 5) don't give attention to negativity. apathy isn't particularly inducive of respect. so out of 5 points to cause respect, 0 cause respect. 1 is good advice. 1 is uncanny.
