I have 7,000 photos on my iphone. Is there a way to “choose all”. Scrolling could take forever. Also I don’t have space for all my photos on my phone so I store the high rez copies in iCloud and low rez versions on the phone. If I follow your procedure will I get copies of the high rez images on my hard drive or just the low rez ones? Thanks

choose the first photo press and hold shift button then scroll down and select last photo... All photos will get selected.

Which connector or usbc are you using? I did get something in amzn but its not compTible with ny iph13pmax. I cant find any usbc that actually compatible or works for iphone to hdrive directly. 😢

As per your procedure, I manage to connect my hard disk to iPhone. Unfortunately, it doesn’t show under file. From other sources, it seem I need to connect to external power before the hard disk can be detected. Is this correct before I proceed to get an adaptor with additional usb port for power connection.

Im curious about this as well. How to you maintain power to iPhone and connect to external drive? Are there dual USB-C port adapters that work with iPhones? Seems like it may be better to connect both iPhone and drive into a computer or laptop, then be able to choose location.

​@@Derkous_Do you have enough iCloud storage? If you have, you can upload your photo to the Files app on iPhone, and then, you can compress them into a zip file in the Files app. After done, use a computer to download the zip files on iCloud Drive's official website.
