I've been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years now and he just recently told me about your channel and how much advice and help he got from it. As the "top" in our relationship, now having watched your videos, I understand perfectly where he got all his info from. You are a treasure trove of information and I too have learned a lot after he told me about you.

The best, least obvious, and most fruitful advice is the idea of knowing WHO/what kind of person you are trying to attract. If you're looking for a relationship this is especially true but it's even true of hookups (for example, we often are baffled by chubby chasers but they may be very conventionally attractive and more attracted to the overweight version of us than the crossfit-perfected version we achieved after self-flaggelation: we would be the last one to know that we failed to attract someone because we were simply too diligent in living up to our own or some "good" advisor's sense of what we had to be. While the "chaser" is certainly not as common, the type is real, and the same principle applies to every other trait and corresponding preference). The speaker says "guys aren't going to want someone who is shy," he says "don't come on too strong," and adjures us to "have a couple of guys youre talking to," all which are ridiculous and bogus generalities that can easily MESS YOU UP and cause you to constantly miss the person you're actually most likely to attract, retain or be happy with! To wit: a moderate (but not inhospitable or positivelyvstandoffish) degree of shyness could be exactly WHAT attracts someone to you; a sense of emotional sincerity and actual concern for whether the object of desire likes or approves of you, a quality often described as "clinginess" may (in moderate, non-pathological proportions) be precisely the magic elixir for someone battered by or simply absolutely sick of the near sociopathic levels of non-committal and "NSA," "use-and-discard" mentalities pervasive in certain scenes and subcultures of the dating world (News flash: this is definitely not all scenes, not even in the city you think you know); single mindedness of relational intent or interest, where you communicate, even early on, that you're NOT seeing someone else, that you just so happen to NOT be hooking up with other guys, that you just so happen to NOT have a "last signed in/last active" tag on your Scruff/Grindr/Etc. profile that appears after even your first date and is not linked to correspondence with the person you just met (and actually liked), could be the very thing that turns off that person. Disterested, not nonchalant or overly independent vibes could be the decisive factor in REPELLING men who are quite over either what they perceive to be the hollow pretense of permanent emotional detachment, a style they associate with past frustrations, or the perceived immaturity of perennial indecision, or the perceived selfishness of ever-optimizing vacilation (the opposite hints and manners could be the skeleton key to attracting such persons). Admittedly, the conventional "fitter, happier, more productive...pig in a cage on antibiotics" profile who bikes to work and is well on his way to be team leader at SpaceEx that is encouraged in the video could also be the cat's meow for the tool you're keen on nabbing. Our sad, corporate controlled culture (both gay and straight in almost equal measures) overemphasizes goal-driven, careerist facades as "attractive" and Gordon Gekko like independence as "admirable," prompting a prominent minority (or, at certain jaded age groups, maybe a majority) to desire the exact OPPOSITE: ascertainable vulnerability, emotional/practical/situational/literal availability, room for following a partner in one's life and not just pursuing one's own goals or career with "confidence", which is NOT always sexy to everyone, especially the person with whom you may be most compatible but are not yet conscious of). A certain degree of the conventional mentalities and aptitudes is typically attractive but only necessary insofar as it coveys a basic stability of person or means of survival, and non-manipulative intent - in fact, even stability may not be strictly necessary to attract someone and a degree of instability may even prove appealing to certain folks for various reasons). We OFTEN confuse the ideals of who we think judge us, or the areas in which we judge ourselves with the qualities we think we need to evince in order to attract others to us. This is a great mistake that's very difficult to unlearn. The qualities that attract others to us, however, are not dependent on the ways we may judge ourselves, based on past conditioning or formative experiences. Such experiences may even be subconscious in their origin and level of operation within our psyches. This tendency can be so strong that we may even be running a desperate race to please a past partner, a no-longer present parent, a since vanished consuming object of past attraction, a close but judgy friend whose ideas we didn't realize we'd internalized, or even a boss whose validation we greatly seek or sought at one point that is not applicable to the needs or desires of the person with whom we are presently meeting, dating, living with, or even married to! Know WHO you are trying to attract or keep near: it may not be the same as the man you think you need to be; it may in fact be the very man who is the awkward, unscripted, not fully put together, nervous, clingy, slightly directionless, not perfectly goal oriented, not fully astute or self-actualized guy you actually ARE, amid the raucous storm that is real life, versus the plastic exterior manicured to deny life's reality.

I know you feel lonely. And you feel that you can't get a woman that you want. But God created a female as your helper. 1 Corinthians 11:9. “Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.” Try to ask God to find a female that you desire. I am not going to condemn you because we all have sinned. John 1 [8] If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. [9] If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. [10] If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. Ask God to transform your mind. Romans 12:2-3 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
