You actually missed out on the EASIEST way to get candy! On Halloween if you have no candy in your pockets and you talk to a villagers, they give you 3 pieces of candy! I was able to do this for all my villagers and once I went indoors and came out, they gave me 3x candies again per villagers (:

On Halloween night wear Jack's costume and scare all your villagers to get candy, then go inside a building and then come out to reset the game and scare the villagers again to get candy again!! Just repeat it over and over to get unlimited candy!!

If you TT to Halloween,after getting Jack’s mask and robe Then after getting 10 candy from villagers you can simply reset the process by going in and out of a building, they’ll give you candy again💕 No need to save and load another day( a little discover while I TT to Halloween 🤣)

Another one I just found is if a villager is making a spooky recipe and you already have it instead of giving you the extra recipe they give you candy. I found it when I was visiting my sister's island to get candy and this happened

you can still have multiple profiles/residents on the switch lite, it just takes longer to switch between them bc you can't use the call resident app without extra controllers (you have to close out of the game and go back in with your other profile)

You can do the alternate accounts on switch lite without a other controller, just swap accounts with the game. Sure it takes longer, but it’s worth it Also you can trick or treat at others homes. And, here’s a trick for you guys: (well how to remmeber it) I give you the candy, you give me the item. I scare you with jack, you give me the candy back. *it works, but only once* (the jack method)

For people with a switch lite: Take you other account and play on it, buy some candy and drop it for you’re main account, save your game, and go on You’re main account grab the candy, and then you have more candy, it is a longer process, but it works! 🍬🍭
