Thanks mike, i downloaded and started a Kovo account. When i started my credit rebuilding process, i had 8 bad collections against me. I paid off 2. I had a credit score of 450, in 2 months, im up to a 606 experien. I keep my Capital 1 card at a 1% utilization.

I have cred ai and mine only reports $500 I think it has to do with the amount of money in your account when you apply. I’ve had it for over a year and it hasn’t changed the amount.

Hey fam, thanks for that information. I have never seen one that ever reported that low of a limit. Not saying I don’t believe you. Just saying that’s crazy. Anytime you have to hook up your account to plaid API, you want to make sure you hook it up to an account that has the most money. They are looking at deposits, transactions and spending habits to determine a limit. Again appreciate you fam 🙏🏽

Every scoring model is built on risk. A home is a higher risk and so it needs to have a scoring model that can truly assess your risk as a mortgage borrower. This is why the requirement are much harder than a car or a credit card. More money equals larger risk so the Fico score will have different criteria than a car lending score or a credit card lending score. Credit is all about risk and that’s why there are different Fico scores that lenders pull based on the industry. Hope this helps fam 🙏🏽

@@MikeTheCreditGuy I found this out the hard way, AFTER applying with 3 lenders last year and was so flustered since the lender was showing info that I was unaware of, and I did not understand the big difference in the FICO score which was not in my favor. I would like to add that I have watched sooo many videos on credit repair that were such a waste of time. Thank you for you no bs videos which have been extremely helpful. 😊

Great question, that depends on the credit profile. So it’s not possible to say yes or no. Just be aware that yes anytime you add a new account. It can drop your average age of credit. If your credit profile has long age, or decent age. The drop can be minimal or non existent but then there are credit files that are too thin and need this but again it will reduce that age of credit on a thin file.
