I bought one of those gallon cans of Fluid film (its wool wax really). And i use a big paint brush and brush it under the entire vehicle once a year here in Canada. Zero rust after years of driving on salty roads and my farm with 2 feet of snow. Its amazing stuff. Its hard work to paint brush the entire undercarriage but so worth it. People ask me how it looks new and i tell them and they seem to not believe me its just fluid film or wool wax

I'm going to spray some stuff on a rust part on my car. I live in the Midwest where the winters and road salt can be brutal on cars. What I'd like to know is how often would I need to spray an application? After a car wash? After the winter is over? Thank you.

You don't have to do it after a car wash. It will last 4 to 5 years but we do a reminder video every year to do your rustproofing. We suggest every year crawling up under and just touching up any spots after your initial application. Hope this helps kip! Mike, special test application for you here in Wisconsin. My shed is close to the road and the snow plow throws salty slop onto the roof i just painted, so now all the screws are rusting. Will your mix work for me?

I trust you 100% I bought Auxito LED headlights from your recommendation and they are awesome. What is the brown bottle you are using to spray the Fluid Film? It might allow me to purchase the less expensive sprayer from Amazon. Also it seems you are using the PlanetSafe AIM Extreme Duty Lubricant to Kill Rust and this is not mentioned on their website. Do they support your rust stopping work?

I'm in the market for a good air compressor capable of powering most air tools and I must say I'm quite surprised the Bostich worked for the Fluid Film. It's rated at only 2.6 CFM @ 90 PSI and most useful air tools require at least 5 CFM if not 10 CFM. Does the highly viscous Fluid Film from a lidded can (not the spray can version) spray properly with an air compressor only rated for 2.6 CFM? Should we purchase higher CFM rated compressors for more demanding air tools other than blow guns and nailers?

This amzn.to/48ayp6E worked fine as you saw in the video. It did run pretty much consistently while we were doing the process. It will run any nail gun beautifully. But if you want to run air tools like an impact wrench or air ratchet, then you will need this one amzn.to/4012XDY We had this model when we lived in Michigan, it's a fantastic compressor. Safe on exhaust?

If you get some on your muffler or tail pipe, you will be fine. Remember, most all of this is oil based to a certain extent. I'm a locksmith - I'd love to try out something that's non-toxic, works, and doesn't stink (for some reason, people don't like a nasty petroleum stink hanging around their front door for days or even weeks). The lubricant I'm using right now fulfills the non-stink part and the works (extremely well) part... But not the non-toxic part. I'm an animal lover, don't want to make anyone's pet sick.
