Easier to see leaks when you keep stuff clean and wiped down. Also a lot nicer to turn wrenches on a clean machine.

Great Job. I did my lexus seats over. I Used a latex paint match from the store to touch up the dash. It has to be thinned though. I apply it with a small foam roller, As it dries if there are any streaks you can just keep rolling them out. They tell you not to thin latex with water, but it works, I did and it didn't make any difference. I think they tell you that so you can't stretch your paint out and have to buy more. I use the 99 like you do to prep. For the seats I used a latex you can get from companies that sell it for re-coloring your seats. Yes it's latex, because latex has good stretch to it. I fill the cracks and holes with a good paintable latex caulk and sand it to smooth it out before applying any color. If you have a split in your seat you take a piece of vinyl larger than the hole and glue it backwards rough side up underneath with a good flexible glue (I forget what glue I used) before you fill the hole. It turned out nice. Just take your time and do a good job before painting it.

Do you know how to do this for EV batteries?

Wow. Wish I would've seen this earlier today before I took in my trusty 12 year old Kirkland battery as a core charge for a new Walmart Everstart battery. Would have loved to keep that old one going. Anyway, so basically you're just cleaning the plates inside via electrolysis? So if the plates shed off a bunch of junk in this process, where does that junk go? Does it just stay in the fluid? Do you need to change the fluid out afterward?

You aren’t worried about the off gassing? I’ve heard horror stories like explosions and such. People getting hurt badly because of this. I know you would want a well ventilated area, such as outside. What type of charger should I be looking for? Non digital, any recommendations?

Mike, so I work on guitars. Restrings especially. Lubing the bridge & nut is a forgotten step for many & causes tuning issues. I used to use 3 in 1 oil & it was “ok”. The lube you sent me does an unbelievable job at this. Best I’ve seen ever. Just a hair in a wick tip & it’ll last a LONG time. Thanks again.

I had a car clay bared in Boise about 10 years ago. I'll swear that fine silk was rougher than the paint when they were done. It only cost me $30, and it was worth much more than I paid. I'm going to do it to my three cars soon. Thanks for the video to remind me about the clay bar. I have watched every one of your videos and really enjoy and learn from them.

I followed SweetProjectCars original ceramic coating video instructions from years ago on my then new Dodge Challenger. I followed all the washing, clay bar, and prepping instructions and then used Armor Shield IX as advised. Almost 7 years later the rain beads up on it like I just waxed it the day before, and the dirt and pollen slide ride off it. Best investment of a hundred bucks and a Saturday ever! Thanks SPC!
