I love Marie Anne. I watch her and you. My thing I love for summer are hats. You have to find the right ones. I get so frustrated when I am in a store and find one that I like and put it on my head and it is huge in the band. The ones that have that band on the inside and adjustable string really helps the fit. They can run really expensive. But I wear hats out of necessity because they protect me from the sun. I don't have a lot of linen but it is something I will have to start adding to my summer wardrobe.

Do appreciate all your wonderful tips. Love linen for the summer however in the climate I live in (Canada) Kimonos/Ruanas are garments that one doesn't often see as street-wear, as worn mostly for special occasions. With that said and in lieu of such, light weight shirt dresses are often worn as an (open) overlay offering double duty in one's wardrobe.

I just started wearing linen since you have been showing it this year. Love it. Bought the white linen blazer first and love it! Wear it a lot. Then I bought a linen pair of pants and top and I am sold. I have 2 hats, but forget to wear them, I am going to start wearing them again. I got the love of hats from my mother and oh so chic! Talbots and shorts, tank, and blouse from JJIll. The blazer does not show the wrinkles much or the cardigan, The blouse more so and pants and shorts a little more because you sit in them, but they are so comfortable, and they are to wrinkle a little. Love the look of linen though and don't notice it so much. Maybe the wrinkling takes some getting use to. Kay mentioned that I believe, if I remember right. Anyway I think if you bought a blazer or top first in it, I think you would like the look. I wear my white linen blazer a lot.

You really just have to learn to ignore the wrinkles. And brands like Chico’s now have no-iron linen that is a blend, so it doesn’t wrinkle as much but still looks and feels like linen. shopstyle.it/l/buWJ7
