Going to remote work is the thing that saved me from burnout, but it was only temporary as it was soon replaced by even more micromanagement and meetings so they could keep close tabs on us still. So I'm back to being severely burned out again.

Remote work is not for everyone but it has always been best for me. I am more productive and focused at home as I found the office can send your down a rabbit hole with so much and so many around. Perhaps that works for some, but definitely not for me. I love working at home and my family and friends understand and respect those boundaries.
