Benoni is a dubious opening at the top level and it’s hard to play as it often requires gambiting a pawn. Obviously none of these matter at amateur levels, but these are probably the reasons you haven’t heard of it.

Fellow Benoni players rise up. The Benoni is dubious at GM level only if you enter it from move order 2...c5. If you enter it from 2...e6 then its perfectly fine

My prefered one is 1..Nf6 2...c5 (the n°4 and most agressive reply) because in case white play the Queen Gambit you can olso transpose to the Budapest Gambit 2.e5 (very agressive too and even more with the Farajowicz variation) but in case white play the London system and push 3.d5 you have to be prepared to 3...b5 and so on.

I play the last system regularly and do well with it. I usually use the knight to e4 variation, but will now try e5 and see how I like it.

in the laster variation at time stamp 14:00 why does white have to play pawn to c3 to protect its pawn? there are two pieces protecting it the queen and the knight?

I sit down to the board with an equal position and then my opponent makes the firet move and it is all downhill from there. I tried sitting on the other side of the board but then it is my move and it is still downhill from there. So I tried not sitting doen but after a while my legs are sore and I have to sit down anyway, I am bored and don’t want to sit down on the ground, and poof I am in the chair again having to make a move. I figured if I set up the board at the bottom of a bowl then it would m be all uphill from there, but seems that did not work. So I need an anti-video for the position from before the first move on either side if the board.

12:12 In this 5th Anti London system white can just trade off the bishops before castling (best), neutralizing the battery and later on break with e4...Example: 8.Bxd6 Qxd6 9.0-0 0-0 10.Nbd2 e5 11.e4 exd4 12.cxd4 dxe4 13.Nxe4 Nxe4 14.Bxe4 Nf6 15.Re1 Nxe4 16.Rxe4 with an equal game.

The monkey wrench system is by far the most fun. Spot what your opponent is trying to do, throw a wrench into the machine... Inability to adapt is a fatal noob flaw, in chess and in evolution. Most noobs don't lose by failing to think three moves ahead, they lose failing to think one move ahead. Losing at chess is not a crime, losing stupidly is a sin, though
