To simplify deciding what to eat every day, I’m working on making a list of all possible meals. That way I don’t feel like I have to improvise on the spot before I go to the store, and I won’t end up eating the same meals every week.

I needed to start implementing more exercise into my life and at the same time, I wanted to read more. I wanted to start reading non fiction and read more fiction. I used to read ALL the time but as life changes priorities change. So I made a deal with myself. I work out at night so I would do my workout, then shower, and when I relaxed for bed afterward, I would reward myself and read at least 15 minutes of non fiction, and then 15 minutes of fiction. This was in 2021 and it's still my routine!

Two little things I do: 1) Lay out my outfits the night before. I have a hard time making decisions before my morning coffee, so days I go into work or have morning plans, I pick out all my clothes the night before and leave them in a bag in the bathroom ready to put on. It makes my mornings go SO much more smoothly! 2) High protein snacks! Chocolate covered almonds, roasted pumpkin seeds, cottage cheese with fruit, tampenade, etc.

I like to chop different raw veggies and keep them in the fridge or freezer. That way I can throw a quick meal together and it’s not the same every night.

My little brother introduced me to the Kaizen method. It is the art of taking small steps..to get to a goal. My goals are usually too big so I try to figure out if there is something small I can do.. and work up to the goal.. whenever I spiral I know I have to think about the first step.. because the goal or result is huge and scary.. I am still in the process of setting goals that feel good for me and not for the world or others..

i love the idea of cooking and making your own meals but honestly let’s be it real: it takes up so much time 😭 and then i have to wash everything after 😭😭😭💔 but the freezer-friendly meals are a good tip that i’ll try sometime!!

I get bored of the same meal if I eat it twice :D I make 2x more and eat it the next day or even the 3rd day or/and always have pasta and rice in the fridge ready to reheat and mix with something new, my kids go throw pasta like no other =D Also washed salad packs and prewash carrots and other dipping things is always a good way for me and my kids to eat healthier
