I often forget how versatile a single background stamp can be. Thanks for reminding me! Also, the stamp looked so "busy" until you added the watercolor then all the space between the peonies appeared. I think that's why I shy away from background stamps - they appear to be too "busy" or too "bold and loud" even though they may not be. Beautiful cards, Vicky!

These are all beautiful! QUESTION: Can I use glossy paper with the alcohol lift ink? Would that work? I haven't tried it yet, but I have used the alcohol inks before. Thank you.

Thank you for yet another great video! I have had the arteza brush markers for awhile now and I really like them. My set didn’t come with a water brush though ☹️. They are great for practicing blending and shading- something I need to work on. I also have the same set of water brushes and they work great! I want to try the alcohol ink lift you did next.

I have a hard time getting an all over impression with some of my background stamps. I have to re ink them many times and often I still can't get the full impression. I use Tim's stamp platform. It was suggested that I put the paper down on the stamp instead of stamp to paper without the platform but I find this less than perfect too. Loved these ideas Vicky. It will help to get more out of my stamps.
