I've had the good fortune of meeting Tim and he is a lovely man who gave his time and wisdom to me freely at the UKHC. I've met hundreds of therapists and can single put the good ones in about 15 out of about 300 or so . I'm surprthere aren't more views or followers Tim is amazing!!!

Hello again Tim, Another great video that makes a great deal of sense! It is comforting to me and makes me realize my crew is just trying to protect me, and has no sinister reason for doing so. A big one with me is worrying about what others think about me. I can think of a recent instance where someone I know said things about a collaboration song of mine that was flat-out wrong, but my anxiety flared up for no good reason. I gently corrected him but he didn't like it. Oh well, I need to pay more attention to these things. Thank you very much for doing what you do to help the human race lead more peaceful lives, Tim! Best wishes always, Clay

Hello Tim, I just want to say that I watched your ted talk and it really helped me look at my anxiety from a different perspective, a perspective that I think that I really needed. I just searched your name to see if you have other contents and I am glad to have found that you have a channel :)

I'm good at catastrophic thinking, and it can get ridiculous at times. I also tend to be negative about myself.

Always good to remind yourself these thoughts aren't accurate. It's just your mind getting things wrong.

Sometimes i get a different fight or flight or panic attack response my muscles tense highly up, like embracing as well and it feels like a seizure, has anyone also experienced this? Or is panic attacks only heart beating fast and shortness of breath

Yes it happens to me - at my worst I will start twitching and feel like I'm going to pass out.

@sallybutler1005 I don't know why we don't see any of those symptoms in the list of panic attack symptoms

Hi! Yes. There are a number of reasons why anxiety can cause extreme muscle twitches and spasms to the point where it feels almost like a seizure. I'll make a video on this as a few people have asked me about it lately, and it's one of those classic effects of anxiety that people find hard to believe can really be 'just' due to anxiety.

It's definitely not spoken about enough. I totally agree.

I love the way you describe how anxiety gets things wrong with things. It is a great perspective to use when talking about this emotion.

I hope you can help me, I watched all of your videos but I can’t get past the feeling that the anxiety I feel is so beyond unbearable, every minute is torture, my vision is all weird, I dunno how to cope when it’s this painful 😓😓
