When reading technical commentaries that have a good deal of Greek without English translation in parenthesis I keep a Greek/English interlinear translation at hand. I can generally locate the passage easily and spot the word or phrase in question.

As you were talking about Keener, I thought it might be nice if you did some videos focusing on specific authors! There are names I see over and over but I'm not always familiar with what their views and areas of focus are.

Random Question: of all of Keener's stand alone commentaries, which would you rank as his best overall acheivement? I know it's a tough question...maybe a silly question...but I'd like to see how you'd think through that ask.

Hi Steven, in my opinion I would say his Acts commentary. First, I think his stand-alone volumes give him the greatest amount of flexibility to express himself, as opposed to say his NIVAC volume, which has a prescribed template. Second, I think Acts lends itself very well to Keener's socio/cultural/historical strengths as a Bible scholar. Note: his Acts volume is subtitled as an "exegetical commentary," which is a description Keener unsuccessfully fought with the publisher. It's a socio-historical commentary.
