Käärijä: you can't get crazier than this Windows95man: hold my pants One morning left: hold my puppy

Oh yeees, I love this! 😁 I think you can clearly hear the Kiro-effect in the beat, so no wonder I like it. That just is so my kind of music nowadays, I guess 😅 As I came to a conclusion in a comment section somewhere yesterday, that after Käärijä no normal music will be enough for me anymore. So, this is unnormal enough for me to like it 😄 I am not sure if this is what I would like to send to Eurovision this year, but I am so happy it is in the competition! Definitely going to my personal playlist, I can't stop listening to this again and again.

I assumed to dislike Puppy based on the description, but I was somewhat stunned after watching the video. I usually don't go for heavy metal or anything of the sorts, but after the previous UMK candidates, which have been kinda too clean and poppy for my liking, hearing someone violently scream about their love for puppies sorta works. Currently, this is my number one, but I also hope for a surprise from the last two songs.

I had the same reaction. Speechless. But I kind of love it.

Btw I just love the video clip of Käärijä singing Ccc on a karaoke, I saw it yesterday and it really made my day! 😆 Oh I can imagine those people in the bar, maybe thinking that okay this guy is killing it, not realising they had just randomly gotten a free Käärijä concert! 😆 (Also it was nice to notice that I could understand everything that was written on the video without actually knowing Estonian, only by figuring it out through Finnish 😅) Käärijä did also meet up with Tommy Cash while he was in Tallinn 😏 Don't know if Tommy was the ultimate reason he was there or what was the purpose of his trip, but the marketing is working and making me excited for Tommy and Eesti laul also.

I'm actually starting to like Puppy more, 1st reaction was a bit of shock, but now I actually like it 😄Though I'd prefer we'd send a song with a decent chance of getting some jury votes in ESC, I'm tired of being snubbed by juries... But this isn't bad, by any means. And WTF was Käärijä doing singing his own song in karaoke bar in Tallinn (which I've also been to, great place )?! 😂

I'm a metal person and I loved Käärijä and Blind Channel. But this song somehow didn't hit me like I would've wanted it to hit. The Viivi's song Aina hit me harder than this. What is wrong with me, I prefer a ballad over a crazy metal song? Something's changed.

Nothing is wrong with you, Puppy is just not good
@Yan2702-i2b15 сағат бұрын
same... I think this is just trying to repeat the Chachacha. The name..Puppy..has same contrast than Chachacha and is trying to take it´s listnener by surprise..but fails as it is kind of obvious.. and...as käärijä had message in his song...this has none. it is just shock value with chaos

Same. But I didn't like the ballad either. I haven't liked any of them so far. What a weak year. I am just holding out hope for Vikman now.

For me "Aina" is the worst song so far 😂 Nightmares is the best yet to me (playing in the background here, too!), but this is oddly starting to sound better and better...
@elvinam88810 сағат бұрын
And to me Aina is just very lame & boring, and one has to be around 20 to actually believe in those super-clicheed lyrics... Jeez.

I think the similarity to Cha Cha Cha isn't that suprising considering this one shares a songwriter with Cha Cha Cha ;)

There's a Chachacha connection here, the same producer involved
@tanjanikola948911 сағат бұрын
Kiro was writing Cha Cha Cha and also this, so similar elements were to be expected. This might indeed end up winning UMK (unless Erika or Goldielocks bring something special to the table). However, I can't see juries loving this (0 points likely), and it might be a bit too much for the audience in many countries outside of the Northern European Joost-Käärijä-Electric Callboy-metal fans (Lord of the Lost didn't get many votes from outside of Finland, despite being a decent song). Most voters hear the songs for the first time in the final. It will be interesting to see the staging. Fun and chaotic for sure, on the playlist? Not so sure. Live? Yes, absolutely!

It’s just weird for the sake of being weird which makes it super cringy. I just can’t bring myself to like this song and I hope we don’t send it. It’ll look like a desperate last measure of trying to replicate Käärijä’s popularity.
@Yan2702-i2b15 сағат бұрын
Exactly... I wish we would send something else this time even that the other song would do worse in eurovision. People are saying Sweden tends to send always the same pop song...with this song we would do just about the same
@florenna10 сағат бұрын
@@Yan2702-i2b Well if Sweden can send the same pop song every year, and no one complaons (well, not many), then why couldn't we do the same...?
