I don't know if humanity is really worth saving, (just look at some of these comments) but we're poised to take everything down with us in a useless spasm of nihilistic decadence. Between oceans of nothingness, on our 1 in a 1000000000000000000 biological paradise planet, it's the panoply of plants and animals I feel for the most; their plight is the greatest injustice and for me the struggle continues chiefly with them in mind.

The inconvenient truth has now become the fanatical truth according to the Judge. History may look back and see the judge as the fanatic, not you guys.

@@P.G.Wodelouse This guy was literally on a Zoom call, not even involved in planning the protest. Judge explicitly said that he's imprisoned for giving a speech in support of civil disobedience because it "could encourage someone to protest". Mind that, this guy has hundreds of similar speeches all over youtube and even on some media outlets
@ciriusp3 ай бұрын
@@P.G.Wodelouse I think he is referring to the judge's comments on sentencing (publicly available) where he referred to them as being "fanatics" and "fanatical" because he believes the effects of the disruption (the number of man hours spent sitting in traffic and the economic cost of that) was "disproportionate" to the aims of drawing attention to the causes of the literal end of the world (as we know it). Also equating causing people to wait around for a bit to "depriving people of liberty" worthy of jailtime seems a bit excessive.

I experience a chock every time - Hallam’s prison sentence, Varoufakis’ being silenced, Corbyn’s forced exit, colleges banning students… Not because I’m naive, but because being frightened by existential horror is in our being. Externalising that fear is why we can’t imagine a future with at least less raw abuse and exploitation. My heart goes out to Hallam, and to all who sense fear from our own actions or inactions… ❤️

I am delighted too that you are to be in charge of the UK's response to the almost certainly coming catastrophes caused by climate change. Today, a man who is fighting for us all, was imprisoned through cowardice, weakness and willful ignorance. I implore you to release Roger Hallum and his five colleagues and employ their energy and wisdom in the service of your and our agenda to save humanity. Hopefully, James Sherburn

Well said, Champion! Relatively easy for me to write to you, from my 20 plus years of exile, living on the roads and forests of Australia, "Stay Strong! NEVER surrender to their will!" As I commented to The Great #JulianAssange during his Belmarsh jailtime; "sometimes, merely to not let the stress of the walls etc, depress you, do surrender hope, let go, so your mind and body can fully relax". It's a sort of "Silent Mind Meditative" practice, to get thru times when the odds are too great, like when you can't break out of your cell, etc. But. I expect you, Roger, are intelligent enough to know what's best in just such unjust circumstances. I expect that somehow, you and your Fellows, will be pardoned, in the not-too-distant future. And, you said it, about Integrity etc, beating all the desired wanderings of mind. "they" cannot win against Integrity, which maddens them, as they are all ego. VIVA! ALL Just Stop Oil, Extinction Rebellion and "WTF" Activists! JaRD Australia 01:20AEST, 240727.
