I'm from Malaysia. I started my English teaching internship last month. It's a rural school with mixed races and it's a very low English proficiency. There was a time when I experience a noisy class. A method like counting number 3 until 1 and "eyes on me" really works. Is there any similar method that you can recommend?

@etacude Жыл бұрын
Sure, Blake! Just remember to let them know that it comes from a good place of you trying to help. People who shout like that must be frustrated and defensive, so it has to be brought up in a kind way. ☺️

شكرا جزيلا استاذ لكن اذا كان عدد الطلاب يتجاوز 50 طالب في الصف واسكاتهم امر صعب لايمكنني ان اسيطر عليهم
@etacude Жыл бұрын
It is true that when the number of students exceeds 50 that it becomes very, very hard. But so much more reason to have strict classroom rules that you apply consistently.
