Interesting observation. She did have presence for sure in spite of lacking the classical beauty of a Hollywood actress. Her own personal photographer remarked some time after her death that she really didn't have any beautiful physical attributes so he learned to capture her personality and radiance which of course is a level of beauty all to itself.
