Thank you so much for this video, I was really waiting for it and you didn't disappoint (it must have taken a lot of time). I would end up writing a new testament if I start describing my feelings about every game you mentioned here, so I will keep it short. First thing to mention is that the best thing about the games on this list is that around 50% of them currently have a free demo on steam so we can check them out and decide if wishlist them or not (and I am happy that I didn't know about around 15 of the games mentioned here and most of them had a demo so I will soon try them). Special mentions to Jupiter Moons Mecha, that I have been waiting for a long time, I tried the demo and it was awesome; Rack and Slay, which I had no idea it existed, but, at least for me, it is one of the most unique games in the list, so it should be worth checking; Winnie's Hole... Because it looks bizarre and it is from the developers of Ring of Pain. I don't know how to feel about management roguelite, since I don't like the management genre, but it might be fun in roguelite (Cursed Crew looked interesting enough). Final mention to my surprise when I saw you added Kadomon: Hyper Auto Battlers and Dicefolk in the top 10, but not because I don't think they deserve to be there, I just didn't think people were really into these games (specially the second one). Both are great, fun and cute, probably in my personal top 10 most anticipated games this year.

Noyah looks really interesting to me, the pixel art is gorgeous, and I love when devs go the extra mile and add cool animations to card attacks

Deck-RX - looks awesome as a kind of digital boardgame akin to Flamme Rouge" cycling board game. Deadzoned - A Credits Bounty - Nice to see more traditional roguelike and really like the art/aesthetics too. Escape The Mad Empire - real-time with pause and great presentation for a party system could be as you more or less say, "one to watch". Super Fantasy Kingdom - swarms of monster being mown down mixed with fantasy settlement building could be a nice mix of formulas. Jeez, there's a lot of these. Not a fan of deck-builder gameplay tbh but given there's so many there's always a few hidden gems as above!

Primateria kind of has the YGO forbidden memories feel where you can just fuse cards together and just knowing how the fusions progress pushes your deck's power level to near end game using just weak, weeny monsters.

Hey clemmy i have a suggestion/request. Could you order your videos by "already released/in EA" and "TBA" You can then still order them in your preference but i personally just am not a huge favorite of going through 50 games and they being "random" in terms of accessibility

Im gonna keep an eye on these.

I would pay a lot of money for Balatro to be released ASAP. The demo was a blast, and the runs have so many impactful, different variations. Can't wait for the release. Pretty cool list of diverse games!

Some time ago Cartoon Network had a game about rock, paper, scissors. Based on the animated series gundam. For some reason Jupiter Moons: Mecha reminds me of that game 😅

how is the mictotransaction situation? Primateria? Do you not answer so often or did I say something that got me blocked once? I don't know if youtube is just not showing me answers. Oh wow that one is still not out? Deck RX, feels like I saw that one 3-4 years ago. Oooohhh Witch and Council, nice to see that one again. Spirit Lift looks a bit different buy I have that one too. Only Kindfolx was an idk Game for me, until I saw now you can have other interessting characters. I'm probably more of a sceptic with these games, but I like Kadomon enough, that should say in my eyes this will most likely be fun. I didn't mention all of them and even if I recently have half of them from your video, I just like to count for some reason, how many games I have in my own list
@ClemmyGames Жыл бұрын
Fair enough. No you're not blocked. No microtransactions in Primateria

Yeah, Deck RX has been there for a long time... Hopefully it will be releasing this year, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not.

Rogue-lite games are too repetitive and boring. Besides, it has no impact. Have developers lost their creativity?

Really? Which ones have you tried? I personnally would recommend Dead Estate, Going Under, Patch Quest, roboquest, and Risk of Rain 2

Idk I feel like the subgenre has given way for a TON of creativity. Also, how have roguelikes/lites had no impact? Have you seen how impactful games like Hades have been? Nevermind the fact that Dead Cells was so popular that they got to collab with Castlevania
@rkclinite Жыл бұрын
Strategy games have been generating random maps and battlefields for decades. I feel like the term is being applied to just about anything to the point it's not useful.
@betterthanflapjacks Жыл бұрын
I feel the same. They can be fun, but very repetitive. It’s also hard personally to pick one to play when they look and play the same gameplay wise
