I just wanna throw in a couple recommendations that I’ve found to be really good. #1 Tacos Los Poblanos #1 Estilo Tijuana in South LA. Make sure to bring cash, no cards accepted. Their meats are cooked over charcoal instead of gas, so the flavor is off the charts! Homemade tortillas also. Can’t go wrong. #2 Killer Noodle in Sawtelle. Their Tokyo Style Noodles are 🔥🔥🔥 and reasonably priced under $15. #3 Sonoratown in Downtown LA. This place makes REALLY good authentic Mexican food, specializing in Northern Mexican food. The tortillas are made in house from imported flour from Mexico. Just really good all around.

Mono poke near LAX is pretty good & u can get a LG bowl which comes with 3 proteins everything else is free except its extra for avocado or extra protein & it's around 15 w/o avocado. I usually get the LG bowl with brown rice proteins are tuna,salmon,shrimp & I add crab meat the sauces vary but I usually go with house,spicy & spicy mayo. As far as topping go I put everything & add avocado it's around $20 but again that's with extra protein & avocado which isn't necessary to get a full meal

Another good cheap eats & imo best Baja style fish & shrimp tacos in L.A is taco nazo they have any 3 tacos for $15 & any 3 crispy tacos with beans,ricotta cheese or potatoes for $7. But the best deal is 20 tacos in sets of 5 for under $45 so if u go in a group 5 u get 4 each & pay under $10 per person.an added bonus is they come with these yellow Chile's that are grilled & seasoned with lime & salt they're so good

OK. So I want everyone to revel in the stupidity of this post. First off, Burger King is owned by the parent company, Restaurant Brands International, which is a Canadian company. While every restaurant on this list is owned by an American citizen. Second, I get that your palette is geared more toward foods that are on the bland side of the spectrum. But there are quite a few places on this list that serves burgers, and I've eaten at several. And they all make better burgers than BK. Here's a quick history lesson. Mexicans have lived in the south western US for centuries (before it was the US), so by default, Mexican food is more native to the US than the hamburger. Which dates back to Hamburg Germany. Kind of ignorant, aren't you?
