This is true. It’s actually how people make change in therapy. They take an idea that means something to them. Then they reflect on it until they understand it.

So true!!!! But you also have to live by it, that’s the important part. If you turn away from truths you already know, it’s torturing yourself. A lot of people know what to do, but don’t have the strength to do it.

Literally just read 33 Laws of War earlier at my local B&N and I must admit that the book is addictive to read. I barely like many books. I resonate with the line “Being attacked is a sign that you’re important enough to be a target”. Take it how you want it, but this single sentence will give me more power over any enemy or hater I come across. It’s a very powerful book if you’re able to use your own wisdom to form ideals within the book. I gotta finish the book.

I’ve came to this realization in just studying people who are book smart. They read the books to KNOW the information basically to only regurgitate it while others read the books and apply said knowledge. The ability to understand that any given moment is a teaching moment is a superpower. While many just want to be the teacher but they have never applied the knowledge.
