As a father, a real father, you love your children with all your strength and heart, you'd rather die than not being closed to them everyday BUT this makes the mother sick to understand that you don't care for her anymore. She becomes jealous of your continuing love for your children compared to your lack of feelings towards her. Instead of dealing with the situation with maturity, your love for your seeds becomes her only leverage to hurt you so she starts filling their heads with lies as soon as you're not around, even for 30 minutes.
