“You’ve got to treat people like they’re going through something.” - Big Sean. A word.

The fact that even after Big Sean stated that his grandmother was dying and nori was still mad after almost 10 years truly showed his character. How could this man be thinking about doing a feature with you or producing anything for you when he's just trying to get through his own work while his grandmother was going through something? So selfish Nore!

One thing I LOVED about this interview was when Sean basically checked on Nore to make sure he is aware of the dangers of heavily drinking casually and make sure he’s taking care of himself. Can guarantee no guest has ever asked him that while recording. Big Sean is a true advocate for health so I respect him for applying a little brotherly pressure about.

not personally a fan of Big Sean's music but this is a real role model in a time where they are few and far between. Down to a personal level of handling your emotions, keeping your words 100%, not speaking ill of people who wrong you - even down to not having a problem denying a drink when you know you don't want or need one. He found his boundaries and keeps to them with no shame or embarrassment. Salute to Big Sean - he made me a fan of him as a man.

If Big Sean is owed 6M, regardless of the vibe man at some point you have to take that vibe to where you say you're owed 6M. And he's got to respect you for that and if that ruins the vibe then Big Sean has a right to have an issue with that. On top of that, just because Ye gave Big Sean a golden opportunity doesn't mean he owns his soul.... as a not knowing shit outsider looking in.

Unlike the interviewer who comes across as antagonistic towards Sean. Never mind the rudeness of not letting him flesh out his points and just damn right cutting him off. Making mistakes on songs and shit… that’s kinda disrespectful. I know they drinking and smoking but it’s still disrespectful

When Sean stopped them and said they wasn’t hearing him they really wasn’t and as a fellow Detroit local I understand completely what he’s saying. We come from a city of loyalty and respect and that’s what he was trying to say that Ye was violating. Like Big Sean really put so much work in for that man and Ye said it was the worst choice signing him and thats messed up. When it comes down to it man to man Sean shouldn’t have to say anything to Ye cuz Ye being the big homie and the boss he’s gotta keep his shit with the label in order and keep Big Sean and the other rappers on the label straight. Y’all gotta listen to what Sean is saying!!

100%. Sean understands the appropriate time and place. He was raised right; a different breed. If Ye acted an ass on the web do we really think he wouldn’t act differently in private? Sean knows the deal. Ye knows his company owes that man money. I’m not going to remind you that you owe me money. I’ll let the law deal with you.

Bro! As a man! The hurt I felt from Sean man almost brought a tear to my eye! I’ve felt that in this business! It’s real and when you feel like you not being heard when you’ve only meant well that shit is the most hurtful part!! The level of patience and respect Sean spoke with was beautiful! I already had massive respect for him and this interview didn’t make me gain more respect for him because that was already maxed out. But I Gained a new level of appreciation for him as a human! This is the type of man/human that we not only need in society and showing the youth but that we need within this entertainment business!

I can’t believe the level of maturity and raw passion Sean displayed here when answering the questions about Kanye’s interview. You can clearly see, these two were close enough that Sean was under the impression their relationship had grown past the level of colleagues/co-workers to being actual friends. The type of disrespect Ye’ displayed when talking about Sean in that interview and the way he humiliated him publicly like that would be enough to make alot of grown ppl cry, even if behind closed doors. I feel terrible after seeing Seans face and reading his voice when he answered this portion of the interview. What a humble, truly humble artist we are watching right here. I’d go as far as to say there might be a limit with how far you can make it in hip-hop today being this humble, this articulate, well-spoken, and loyal. God damn
