50 Cent Reveals How Oprah Is Using Steve Harvey To Blackball Taraji
50 Cent is coming after Steve Harvey for allowing Oprah to use him to blacklist Taraji after she
spoke up on how badly Oprah treated her on the set of The Color Purple. Child, it’s a hot mess
because Oprah allegedly got mad at Taraji for spreading negativity, which she believes caused
the movie to flop at the box office.

Has anyone ever thought that the failure of the color purple was because we are tired of it? My word, how long does Oprah expect to make money by microwaving that steak? Saw it once and that was enough of that darkness for me. And I am not the only one. If Oprah is so creative, come up with something different. She continues to rebake the same thing and expects everyone to flock because her name is on it. NOPE! Most people have more important things to do with their money. Don't blame Taraji. We are simply tired of the same O, same O.

I know your grandmother was right. Did these black actors complain when white producers gave them less than they were worth? The majority of black people from the janitor & actors to the White House, for years, received less pay & worked twice as hard. It is definitely far past the time for change. That is why corporations & government tried to brake unions. There is an old saying. “Don’t cut off your nose to spite your face.”

This is one of the biggest reasons we as a people are where we are. I support her stand. I do not support her timing. She had to have known what blacklash would occur. Viola made her statement of her account about disparity in pay, as well as did Garielle Union. However, neither has ever did so at the beginning of the release of a film in which they were staring and is doing well. 18 million from jump Street! to not being nominated for anything via Oscars with the deserving nod for Danielle Brooks. How does the film go from 18 million first weekend to being called a Box office flop. We black people boycotted our own. As a result of TPH's comments. Many blacks started a negative narrative. It's sad ya'll. I have seen both films, Ava DuVernay's Origin, a Brilliant film a Master class film making on all counts as well as The Color Purple. Which, I believe could have been a mega opportunity missed to go beyond where we have been opposed to the negative, harmful demise of these to films and all who were blessed to be a part of. Shame.

So yes once again People or some people will accept the money even if it’s not what they are worth. To expose the business industry. It is what it is. At the end of the day Oprah has the money she needs to stop treating her on people like they treated her before she start owning her own businesses. Just like Monique she took the job precious, she knew she was being underpaid but she took it and too set an example for other upcoming black Artists,to let us know what’s going on. it is what it is. Oprah has the money and she knows it. And she wonder why it flopped at the box office. Add the end of the day these elites are going to be exposed sooner or later. And when they get a phone they get called troublemaker, Hard to work with or blackballed!!! that’s why she spoke out. As she should. Now you have a nice day. in the (405) Bethany Oklahoma area

Warner Brothers set the budget. That's what studio heads do; Taraji was offered $150K for Benjamin Button and took it. I think she should have talked directly to Oprah, black woman to black woman, artist to artist, professional to professional. Taraji's response wasn't spontaneous--pay inequity is an issue near and dear to her heart. Oprah was a producer on the movie--why talk to Gayle instead of Oprah?

Hi And She did talk to Oprah that’s why they have beef🙄. she even talk to her about the dressing room 🙄 trust me Taraji is all but nothing but woman she handled hers. and she still get treated less than Oprah never wanted to hear anything Taraji had to say or complain about. It is what it is. Oprah knows she wrong. She just don’t care🤨. she need to pay her what she is worth!!! and stop getting people blackballed.

I support Taraji and all women who have found their voice and their courage to speak out against oppression, abuse and wrong doing. I know from experience that once a victim Finds and flexes their voice….they can never be silenced again. She found her voice before the movie was released and she could not hold back. The abuse had gotten so bad by then that her very being would not allow her to remain silent anymore. We are listening 💜💜

Let's talk FACTS. I LOVE ME SOME TRARJI P. as far as Oprah goes I got 1st hand look at how Oprah feels about her black fans. I have pictures & proof. I'm not a celebrity just a hard working black woman that went to the Essence Music Awards in New York about 20yrs ago. When me & 3 of my girlfriends went. One of the almost worshiped the ground that Oprah walked on until up close & personal Oprah refused to take a picture with one of her biggest fans & treated my friend like she was a Nobody. Tell this day I will never forget how she made my friend feel. But Vivica Fox, real & Puff Daddy Combs not only did they talk to us but I have the picture to prove it. Oprah I have NO respect for her behind that because if it wasn't for her fans she wouldn't be where she is today. All the money in the world can not buy genuine morals, ethics, or love for others . So I'm riding with the real women of the screen who deserve much more pay and recognition. Look me up I have receipts. How dare you treat women of color so disrespectful.

We should be a positive support system and encouraging of our talented young women, not uppity and full of ourselves. If u claim to know GOD and truly dependent upon him as u say!
