Great determination to continue through. So cool that you don't complain the whole time! You are both tough and strong!

Great job. People ask me why I keep returning to paddle this adventure and I have difficulty putting it into words. Now I can just refer them to your story because you tell it so well. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! That's how we like to travel :). We try to do as much on human power. Not only because of the environment, but all the other benefits of slow travel

Great film of a great adventure, which I have also completed as a thru-paddler. However, I am disturbed by your dismantling beaver dams en route. The beavers will rebuild them, but they have better things to do. Sets a bad example. You should practice "leave no trace" on your (canoeing) journeys, which includes not disturbing wildlife.
@WeLeaf

You're absolutely right about that. There was no way to get around the beaver dam and we thought it would damage our canoe. After the first dam we learned that this wasn't the best solution, and we didn't dismantle the next 50+ dams :)

Nice trip and beautiful footage! How is it a solo trip if you are with 2 people? Isn't that a "duo" trip then ;)
@WeLeaf
@WeLeaf 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Paul! You're absolutely right about the solo. Can you be 'solo' with 'two people'? Hm, probably not :). I'll change the title
