The Allagash has been pulling me to it since I was about 16 years old, (yes, that’s a long time now, shhh) even when I moved away and lived out in the Arizona dessert, well, especially then I suppose. I have camped within it but I have never “done” it. I NEED to do it before my back won’t let me. Heading to the Penobscot River Corridor this week though, close but still not it. Amazing shots. How’d you get the shots of the moose around 3:30?
@JeremyTGrant4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Ben I really lucked out and was the 4th person to ever get permitting to fly a drone in this area and was able to capture this with the mavic zoom the shot is much longer then in here I did a drop shot from 400 feet very slowly not to scare her as she was getting out of the water and by the time i brought it from 800 ft out and 400 ft high she was stepping out of the water and was very curious by the noise instead of afraid. When filming moose everything has to be super slow and the time of year will also determine there behavior. To say I was excited to be able to grab this shot would be an understatement lol.
@BenKleinCreates4 жыл бұрын
Jeremy T. Grant that’s amazing! I’d be stoked too haha. Anything I should be aware of besides the obvious for flying a drone in Maine. Obviously follow all FAA guidance (I’m a licensed drone pilot). It would be great to fly in mountains etc. how did you go about permission in this area you shot? Thanks! Will be going through more of your videos these next few days haha
@JeremyTGrant4 жыл бұрын
@@BenKleinCreates Maines a pretty awesoe spot to fly yeah pay attention to FAA regs and when you are in the mountains and lakes keep close eye and ear for float planes this time of year they are every where and they fly really low. This spot took awhile to get permission and came down to getting my work in front of the right people way in advice and submitting paperwork and all of that fun stuff. But most areas are open minus state and national parks a preserves You will have no shortage of epic spots to fly that is for sure!!!! Also when your in heavy traffic spots people are really polarized on drones they either love them or hate them so be prepared for that which I'm sure you deal with other places as well.
