Might be a recency effect but I liked the French Riviera section the most. Mallorca was also cool. What I would find very cool is you repeating such a trip with another dream yacht like an Oyster, a Wally, .... Whatever you do, your videos are a joy to watch, so please just continue 😘

@@KristinasTravels so many episodes that I enjoyed. I can't pick a single one. I do recall in a funny way. I said what you said, when it came to Menton, France 🇫🇷. I would love to live. I'm currently looking at a holiday for the French Riviera in 2025. As you showed, every place along the Riviera is worth visiting. Cheers 🥂 to you both.

I loved how you used music in this episode! It really helped convey the sense of nostalgia you had on the final days of the trip. You've developed such a keen eye for knowing when and what to capture in the moment so you have plenty of amazing footage to use in your edit.

Vmg is NOT velocity toward your destination. That is Vmc - velocity made on course. Vmg is velocity directly upwind or downwind when beating or running respectively. So Vmg and Vmc will be very similar or identical when a long way from your destination, but will be very different when very close.

What did you make of the cutter head? For me, having a sekf tacking staysail makes any boat so much easier and better to sail.

You are very cool. Thank you for your videos. We've been watching you for a year. It would be very interesting if you showed what you are shooting. It's especially interesting how you launch a quadcopter from a boat and shoot it on the go, and then put the copter in a boat and do it all in the wind and in motion. The frames are super.
@ragemonkey31633 ай бұрын
balance the sail and you won't heel over that hard. heeling over like that is not efficient. you could go faster with less heel.

VMG? Real Sailors call that SOG-speed over ground. CBDR-constant bearing, decreasing range. DR-dead reckoning. COG-course over ground. S/D-Set and drift.
@deerfootnz3 ай бұрын
Well, Mr real sailor -Vmg and Sog are entirely different. Sog is speed relative to ground that includes current, as opposed to STW, speed through the water which doesn't. Vmg is used when going upwind or downwind and refers to progress directly upwind or downwind NOT toward destination which is Vmc - velocity made on course.
