Cool video ! Im still not sure I could handle this job in a car , traffic lights , parking , road works and all that Im too used to the bike , I even take it inside most of the shops , and right to the customers door , so easy . So I actually think Ben won that contest !! good show , cheers

25:31 I had that in Mcdonald's the other night, drivers who had arrived well after me whining on at the under staffed workers, ignoring the dividing line between drivers and customers so they get to the counter - some of them getting their way and having their orders made before everyone else. Some multi apping at the same time with double orders on both (those customers bound to be happy with their cold meals..) At several points the staff had a go at them and said to one of them "you have to wait there are people here before you" guy: "what people?!" staff: gestures to the sea of drivers in front of the guy.. "oh.." shuts up. I'm not going in there (western road brighton) again, an hour and a half went by from walking in to finally being given my order - done with them, under staffed and awful system in place that they're constantly confused by.

Atlanta I finally got on Deliveroo today after waiting since July! But i'm a short temp contract till 28/02/2023... as they're recruiting new drivers only for the busy period :( but I hope after that time they'll let me stay on... I have a quick question, what is the best miles tracking app to use to keep track of the miles on the deliveries? I wish Uber and Deliveroo had a tracker like Just Eats... what one do you use or recommend? Also can you claim from your house to the restaurant milage as well as going to the customer?

Hi, yay finally!! Can’t believe there’s only a short term contract?! I take a picture of my miles at the beginning and end of the day on the dashboard. Yes, you can claim all miles!!

Had a bit of a quiet shift yesterday on Just Eat for a Friday did about £39... I've started to notice a couple of drivers, one who's open about it, uses two phones and two Just Eats accounts. Which annoys me, as he said he made £20 on one and like £30 on the other. I suspect Just Eats will figure these drivers using two phones accounts. I know they stopped the Shift Grabbers.

You can report them for it. As can the restaurants if they are using another name on the other account.

Interesting. Nice comparison between the bike and car. I wonder if they give more preference to a car vs a bike. I understand you all have a hot bag but I think they feel the food will be safer in a car vs a bike. I had to laugh Ben on your next door delivery. I’ve had maybe 4 like that. Literally 3 of the drop offs were at hotels in the same area as the 3 restaurants are near and the other one was literally a short walk to the eating establishment. Like you I literally could have walked out the customers door walk across the street and pick up the food. I was like your kidding me.but, hey I’m not going to complain. Your going to pay me to do it I’m not going to turn it down.

I love ones that you can walk to the customer! Had one a few weeks back that I waited ages at McDonald’s but got reimbursed so it was like £8 to walk to the customer. I believe in different areas they prioritise different vehicles such as in London and Brighton they will prioritise bikes and scooters!
