Hello everyone, I'm Mr. Gole, a food content creator from Nepal. After spending almost a week in Dehradun, exploring its vibrant street food scene, it's time to take our food hunt to the next destination: Mussoorie, the Queen of Hills.
In this episode, we're kicking off a $50 Foodhunt Challenge in Mussoorie, aiming to savor the best street foods under a budget. But here's the twist - our journey took an unexpected turn, leading us far beyond Mussoorie to Gartangali, one of the holiest places in Uttarakhand.
▶Lovely Omelette Centre
Our first stop in Mussoorie is the famous Lovely Omelette Centre, located on Mall Road. This charming eatery is renowned for its delicious omelettes, which are served every day except Tuesday. They open from 9 am to 9 pm, with 2-3 short breaks throughout the day.
The omelettes here are made with just a touch of salt and a whole lot of blessings, keeping it as simple as possible because, as they say, simplicity brings out the true taste. It's a popular spot, always buzzing with people eager to enjoy the delicious and straightforward fare. When in Mussoorie, make sure to visit this must-try place for a delightful omelette experience!

▶ Mussorie Sweet Shop
Our next stop is the famous Mussoorie Sweet Shop, a haven for anyone with a sweet tooth. Located conveniently on Mall Road, this shop offers a wide variety of sweet treats. Their hot gulab jamun is a standout favorite, drawing locals and tourists alike with its rich flavor and perfect texture.
During our visit, we also tried the kesar rasmalai, and it was an unforgettable experience. The rich, creamy texture and the delicate saffron flavor made it a delight. If you're in Mussoorie, a visit to this sweet shop is a must to indulge in some of the best sweets the town has to offer.
