Hello everyone, I'm Mr. Gole, a food content creator from Nepal. After spending almost a week in Dehradun, exploring its vibrant street food scene, it's time to take our food hunt to the next destination: Old Delhi, the best place to be if you want to explore the vibrant food culture of Indian street food.
**Foods we have tried in our Delhi Food hunt **
▶Pav Bhaji
Pav bhaji is a popular Indian street food that originated in Mumbai in the 1850s as a quick lunch for textile mill workers. It consists of a spicy vegetable mash (bhaji) served with buttered bread rolls (pav). The dish is known for its rich, tangy, and savory flavors, often garnished with a dollop of butter, chopped onions, and a squeeze of lemon.
▶Pani Puri
Pani puri, also known as golgappa or puchka, is a beloved Indian street snack that originated in the Indian subcontinent. It consists of crispy, hollow puris filled with a tangy, spicy mixture of flavored water (pani), tamarind chutney, and spiced mashed potatoes or chickpeas. The combination of the crunchy puri and the burst of flavorful water creates an irresistible, refreshing taste experience.
▶Choley Bhaturey
Chole bhature is a classic North Indian dish that originated in Punjab. It features spicy chickpea curry (chole) served with deep-fried, fluffy bread (bhature). The dish is known for its rich, robust flavors and satisfying combination of the spicy, tangy chickpeas with the soft, airy bread.
▶Mughal Foods
Mughal cuisine, famous for its rich and aromatic flavors, includes dishes like mutton korma and nalli nihari. Mutton korma features tender mutton in a creamy, spiced yogurt sauce, while nalli nihari is a slow-cooked stew with marrow-filled shank pieces and robust spices. We enjoyed these exquisite dishes near Jama Masjid in Old Delhi, showcasing the opulence of Mughal cooking.

Bhai india ghumnu cha ta northeast guma, me myself shillong ko bayera i would suggest shillong for food, u will get to experience alot of traditional local food from India Northeast which is really very different from from the rest of 🇮🇳......
