I had a macdon header once got rid of it about half way through the season,nothing but troubles, bought a honey bee header now it's 10.5 years old 0 troubles,only gaurds and knife sections, still the same canvass on it has about 30000 acers on it.

i watched this vid back when it first came out but now that ive discovered Mr Mike channel its like this video is a whole nother vid because i got to see some of the actual operation not just flying over it, 5:53 i believe thats mike because of the air hose on the left side of the cab right where he said he puts it, ill never have one but yall at honey bee make some darn good headers

The one in the lead was Mike, he runs with the FHF (Faith Hill Farms) flag the green one. I think the Canadian flagged one might be Ashtyns. The flags are in one of the episodes.

Hard to watch at about 1:30 where each machine was running in the other's dust. The sixth combine was eating dirt from the first five. A great video nonetheless.

If the furthest combine went first and down the line, they would have avoided each other's dust. Should be pretty easy to do with guidance. And they wasted a ton of time at the end of the cut waiting for the last combine. Nothing theatrical about this performance.

I keep thinking back to the pictures of my day plowing a field walking behind a house with his two row plow or going to the harvest days as a kid and they had a working thresher being run off of a steam engine...
