Hi, great video. I was deciding between this or the Deerc velocity or ZLL Beast Max. The other 2 both are the same speed but seem to flip a lot on take off and corners and I think because they are 1/14. Could you advise if this flips a lot pls. Thanks

Resolving some of the issues with the 6-ch Transmitter(Tx) that comes with the 'Carbon' version. 1) If you see a padlock icon on your screen. (with sometimes also having a flashing screen as well as beeping) - Turn the Transmitter OFF. - Press and hold the Fwd/Rev Button (bottom RIGHT) and then LONG-press (until the screen appears) the Power ON Button at the same time. 2) If you inadvertently mixed channels 1&2 together (e.g. throttle also works while steering) or channels 5&6 together (lights only on momentarily with ch6 button instead of staying on with the ch5 button). - Toggle through the mixing options by Long-pressing (until it beeps) the Mixing Button (bottom LEFT) UNTIL you NO longer see either a ① and/or a ② symbol(s) next to the mixing icon on the bottom RIGHT of the screen.

50/100/30 fcr diff oil . Stock comes 30/60/10 or 20 . Runs nice . Favorite car atm ,,after honeymoon phase . It’s great for the backyard and loves jumps . Stock diff outdrives wear , rear faster than front so that will be a thing after around 3 dozen runs . They’re 21mm long , 9mm at the cup , with a 5mm shaft with the hole . You don’t need them right away but they have upgraded s2 diff outdrives . Same for front and rear . Rear is a dogbone and fronts are cvd s and 1 mm shorter 89.5mm and 90.5 mm . Ordered some s2 cups for now and aloomineum hubs and tire caps for now. If she does well she’ll get more . Like every RC . They’re great right away until things start wearing but that’s the first to go and I’m wondering if I’m the only one . I seen Omni man racing uses his quite a bit and has had the same issues . Hopefully they get some better hardened cups as stock . I’ve had some arrma soft outdrives once . Like a bad batch . My new ones are holding tuff .

I ve bent a few things doing big air and flips but nothing broke . Bent a front arm pin , blew a shock out which I ll fix today hopefully , replaced the 4 diff outdrives . Put it on 70% with the 27t pinion and 4.3 “ tall tires , some goolrc from Amazon work excellent , highly recommend . Highly , it’s so smooth now on grass and moves and turns way easier , doesn’t get too hot , it’s perfect atm . The stock tires are good but the ones on there now make all the difference . Even the new rlaarlo sand tires are 4.3” tall . Heeuge difference . It was already perfect stock , just saying . I turned it down because I didn’t like how the gears sounded going full throttle but 70% with my set up is perfect for me . I still can’t get over how soft it lands with this set up

Great vid - it's a beast. I ended up with two - one carbon w/ factory electronics and one roller (which also had the carbon upgrades), and the roller ended up w/ electronics that cost more than the roller >.

GYRO complete and ACCURATE instructions for the 6-ch Tx/Rx that comes with the 'Carbon' version. Firstly, it's assumed that the Transmitter(Tx) and Receiver(Rx) are already bound to each other, and both powered ON, thus there's NO need to even open the Receiver(Rx) box at all. 1) Turn OFF the Transmitter, and keep the truck powered ON. With the Transmitter OFF, press and hold the SWA (ch3) button, and then long-press the power ON button at the same time. --->Transmitter(Tx) will now be in the Gyroscope setting mode. Mixing Button (bottom LEFT on Tx): This turns the Gyro On/Off. --->When the upper right corner of the screen shows a 'signal' symbol (e.g. cell tower symbol), the Gyroscope in ON, otherwise it's OFF. ALSO: The Forward/Reverse Button (bottom RIGHT on Tx): This alters the directional effect of the Gyroscope. ---> The ◥ symbol on the screen means 'normal' operation. I.E., if vehicle fishtails to the Right, gyro steers to the Right. (Make SURE this is selected!) ---> The ◣ symbol on the screen means 'reverse' operation. (NEVER select that!) IMPORTANT: This following is correct and confirmed, but often cited incorrectly! Left Steering Dual-rate Knob (below the ch5 button): Adjusts the Gyroscope's 'Sensitivity' aka 'Reaction Time'. (top number on the screen) Right Throttle Dual-rate Knob (below the ch6 button): Adjusts the Gyroscope's 'Intervening Travel Ratio' aka 'Amount of Reaction'. (bottom number on the screen) Once finished adjusting the settings, Long-press the SWA (ch3) button and it will be saved. (2 beeps) DONE! (so there's NO need to power off, and then back on, anything!) LASTLY, very IMPORTANT x2: Return the Steering (endpoints s/b at least ~75%) and Throttle (@100% of course) dual-rate Knobs to your chosen, normal operating positions.

So the Gyro is generally used mostly when on the really loose, low traction surfaces. A good place to start is.... -----> 30% to 40% 'Sensitivity' aka 'Reaction Time'. (top number on the screen) -----> 40% to 60% 'Amount of Reaction' or 'Gyro Strength'. (bottom number on the screen)

Well explained . You should make videos . Mine came with the 🔒 lock symbol on the remote so I can’t adjust anything . I think I have to hold the reverse button on bottom right whilst turning on to unlock it . I’d like to know how the new turbo boost for 30%. more power . To top speed but it doesn’t go faster according to the manual . No one has spoken about the 30% boost and how it works

Interesting that you tried your break it but couldn’t. Whereas I wasn’t trying and managed to break the front gear box/bulkhead (I think?) and jammed up my steering as well 🤦🏼‍♂️

@@Mike_A08 I wouldn't say its outrageously difficult. The main thing I would recommend is to make note of where the screws came from. Also, get a quality driver that will work for the screws instead of the tiny little allen you get with it. The screws are pretty soft and I had several strip when I was putting it back together.

the difference between 3s and 4s is like the displacement of an engine. Assuming everything is equal... think of a 3s like a 5.0 engine and the 4s a 6.2 Litre engine. Something like that.

@@michaelking6408 If you get the carbon edition... one in this video it's 4s ready. You just need the battery. If you want to put a physically big 4s battery in you just need to move some of the electronics around so it fits. Can't go wrong with this RC.

The chassis itself is impressive eventually I may put in a faster motor depending on space I know there’s a brace you can buy to give more room for a motor upgrade I just had my Carbon out & I’m starting to jump it so I’m getting used to it & it’s been nothing but fun so far it’s just right sometimes I don’t want to haul big Bashers around like my Fireteam it’s a good basher to have in any brand.

I'm getn 12 minutes but I'm now running a 2X 2200mah 3S battery's SetUp and I get 24 to 30 minutes per charge I recent broke it but it took a direct hit at speed to the left wheel broke part of steer rods plastic and different speed cup that comes out of front differential

I just got an arrma big rock at an incredible $280.00 off the normal price of truck without batteries and charger .... I got the truck with radio 2 6000mah batteries and a charger for $676.00 which is $23.00 less the than the truck and radio cost without 2 batteries & a charger would cost ....The Normal Cost is $699.00 for arrma big rock and $250.00 for a charger w/2 6S battery combo and I got all of the above for $676.00 tax and all

@@DOUGandNIKI just like you were on. If you turn the gyro OFF, I think you’ll realize it was working quite well from the start! With gyro off, it’s almost impossible to keep it straight on the dirt.

I honestly haven't gone to a 4s because it's darn close to uncontrollable at full speed on 3s. On 4s it will just be wildly fast which could be fun on an open field but if you are running it off road, probably actually too fast. Enjoy it...it's an awesome RC!
