can this be used with deck stain and/or deck sealer ? im looking for something cheap to run this behr stain and sealer through. left a buddy do the job since he said he painted in the past. well that did not turn out great, wife is absolutely pissed, half brushed on half rolled on and it really looks like crap. so hopefully something like this would be perferred and would make things look smooth and covered. great information, thanks

I dont see why not as long as you can thin down the product enough to go through the nozzles.

Got a similar unit, it's weak point is probably going to be the plunger inside that attaches to the trigger. It's also the source of my biggest issue, the O-rings on the white plunger/pin didn't seal very well and paint was able to blow past them and started leaking out the holes where the trigger arm mounts. I added some greased cotton behind the o-rings and it helps to keep that from happening.

I dont im afraid. The nozzles on mine spray either horizontal or vertical depending on which way the nozzle is switched. Are you holding it too close to the wall maybe?

I did think the bit that held the paint looked a bit small. Can you buy bigger ones to fit?

I don't think you can, its not a showstopper but would be good if you could get a 2 litre pot

I got this sprayer and ignored it for a few years: just opened it and there is a piece that is not mentioned in the booklet and I’m not sure where it goes. A little black valve with a clear rubber thing on it. (Looks like a duck bill) 😂😂 Pretty sure it’s an air flow valve and goes under the paint lid. Do u know what I’m talking about? Lol. I was about to start painting with it (finally) and now I’m stuck🤦🏻‍♀️

Never mind! I saw it hiding in the last part of your video. Right where I thought it would go. They had it in the nozzle when I unboxed. It isn’t mentioned anywhere in the paperwork 😂

What was the finish like?

The finish was good, it looks very even and flat as long as you keep the sprayer moving. I had a couple of areas that look a bit splotchy up close where i kept it in one spot too long but youd only notice if you got really close!

Would anyone know why it's not dispensing paint? It doesn't want to spit it out

Maybe you havent thinned it down enough? And also ensure you filter it. The smallest nozzles get blocked easily

Its easy to clean, im just not good at cleaning! All the parts that touch new paint are clean, the outside now looks used!

Oh no, thats a shame as the one i have works great. Is your paint too thick? Or maybe your trigger isnt adjusted properly?
