OMG! It’s so fun to find this video. I personally have purchased many of my Chanel vintage bags from JFA. Yes, it’s a good merchant. Since, I have many experiences dealing with jfa, I actually order directly from jfa website via emailing to customer service with the eBay item number. The lady at Brand jfa will send you extra photos of the bag and give you a discount. I would say it’s about 5% off eBay price. Here in Arizona USA, a 6% sales tax is charged at eBay checkout. Ordering directly from jfa can also avoid this eBay sales tax. It’s a beautiful bag, especially after being polished by you. Congratulations 🎊🎉🍾

I’m watching this video again. Metal polish will strip off a then layer of gold plating, so it’s an good e idea not to use it on plated hardwares. I just plain polish cloth without any chemical. I’ve found tarnish will be gently removed too.

Is there any repair sticker inside or residue from where one could of been? To be honest vintage even though crafted better the dye would have been different back then and not as it is now and chanel may not have been finishing their bags with top coats back then to ensure they stayed supple. Top coats can make it feel literally coated on top. I wouldn't worry residual dye isn't too concerning And worse case scenario if it's visible the loss of colour you can have it touched up or use a high quality polish with pigment - I'll eventually do a video showing how I use a pigmented high quality polish to touch up black bags

The link to their ebay is in the description they may have a website but I just found it easier to apply any coupons via ebay. If they ship by EMS likely customs won't pickup the parcel for fee just depends how it's shipped

The leather colour kept coming out when I was conditioning my vintage CF too. I only applied one coat. The colour ruined my Chanel polish cloth and left stain on my clothes. I don’t know what to do now. Can you suggest any solution?

@@kristenbrasil I used the Havre De Luxe nourishing conditioner but it didn't work. I applied the Collonil leather gel on yesterday and seems to work better. I may apply another layer and see if it would sort it. Is there other product you would recommend?

The one I recommend is the best it's lightweight it's fool proof but u definitely need to do a few applications, cos vintage bags usually have been repaired at one point and back then they didn't have the same facilities we do now with leather dyes. As long as when u have done a few applications when you do a buff to shine with a cloth if it doesn't come off anymore that's the main key to indicate it won't rub onto your clothing

Also a conditioner is a conditioner (havre de luxe) focuses on only conditioning and not the cleaning aspect where as u need a cleaning aspect too to take off the excess dye hence why I opt for the one I shown and linked as I know it does both jobs
