They should add no animation option for FPS, just the green light under your finger required to read your fingerprint. All the default animations look cheesy. So using the "O" etc shortcut doesn't work the same as double clicking the power button? You still need to unlock or am I missing something? Great phone!

for functions like the flashlight and camera you dont have to unlock your device. it just goes to camera or it just toggles flash light on/off

@Warframe Enthusiast the small solid green circle under your finger illuminates your finger, the outer animation is pure eye candy, and has no function. If you like that sort of thing. There is a video showing OnePlus testing the FPS with just the green circle and no animation. I would like this as an option.

@Warframe Enthusiast actually the "animation" is for looks. The light of the screen directly above the scanner however has to be on. But since you fingers are covering it, you dont see it.

There's a feature like Apple's assistive touch (that circle that floats around which has quick toggles and software buttons) for OnePlus except it doesn't float around it stays in the navigation bar. Enable that when you do a video so you don't have to keep pressing the power button physically.

AbdulMuiz Khan can you use it to take screenshots? Assistive touch is the biggest reason I've always gone back to ios. It's such a time saver. Even more so if you're using an X/XS. Allows you do things so much easier

Good stuff. I was thinking about getting this device or the lg v40. Do you have the v40? I would like to see a comparison between the two to make my decision easier on the two. I like certain things about both phones and feel like I can't go wrong with either. The v40 is more expensive and that's the main reason I keep coming back to the 6t. The display is better on the v40 and it has the quad dac and boom box speaker oppose to the 6t having no headphone jack but I like the in display fingerprint scanner and the battery is really great on the 6t. I like the animation the v40 has to offer over the stock Android experience a little better. They are both great and I don't know which one to get! Lol.

i saw the phone today on tmobile store...very beautiful phone. i could not believe it. but i always here it has a big screen and its big....but my hand is small and to me the phone is not big at all. it is actually small. the same with note 9, i used to thing it was a big phone only for me to discover it is small as well. i wish the 6t was bigger. but still i love it and the one i saw was 6gig and was was blazing fast. i wish tmobile has the 256 storage rather than 128 storage thats what i want.
