I'll start next week a new job in a company where there are people from all over Europe, mostly Italian, and English is a requirement to communicate even among Italians. I am positive your video has been beneficial to refresh my business English and to learn new useful phrases. At the top as always, Marina!

IMPORTANT! There is a typo in the first phrase. The phrase is not “To thom it may concern,” it is “To whom it may concern”. I’d hate to see anybody slip up on their introduction, so that is the reason I am pointing this out.

Thank you, Marina! I’m Japanese and just joined a team that is starting to establish their business in overseas. I’d like to know terms about M&A and International Accounting Standard. I don’t know if you are continuing making videos on Business English or if you have already made one regarding the requested subjects, but if you can help me (and your other followers) on these topics, I’d appreciate it! Thank you!

What a great set of phrases! Thanks very much for that! When we provide psychology training is to our corporate clients for non-native speakers of English, we see that vocabulary related to emotional intelligence is needed: Self-awareness, Self control, Motivation, Empathy and social skills. We usually need to explain them to our clients which are not so fluent. I guess it means that in a way that psychology course is also an English course. Any thoughts? 😁

I have an important job interview in a couple of days, it has a lot to do with export and requires to talk to people outside of my country, that means being able to speak English very well. They told me a part of the interview will be in English. I'm not worried about being able to communicate, but I don't really have that much experience with Business English. Most of the phrases were already familiar to me, now I need to learn the ones I haven't heard before. Thank you for this video!
