I know I'm kind of off topic but does anyone know a good website to stream newly released tv shows online?

I have this exact stump grinder and don’t have that extra control thing. I have a cab tractor so it wouldn’t work. Even without that you still have a the flow control to slow the side to side speed down. I don’t feel you need it for the up and down. I have a summit diverter so have two remotes and it works very well that way.

What about using it with a cab tractor.

Great tool, having said that I may have used an excavator in that situation. I realize it costs money to get rid of stumps. Sell Erick a 3rd function. Great job!
@inthewoods56403 жыл бұрын
Instead of using a clamp you Override by attaching a switch on the consul to complete the electrical circuit for the third function Solenoid .

I have the 1P24. Will be producing videos with it soon. Many of Those stumps should be cut closer to the ground. Would require so much less grinding.
@nickg23663 жыл бұрын
Seems like he probably knows that and is doing it for demonstration purposes.

I use that 3P24 on my 3038e, but my dealer just ran levers to the side so I can stand to the side and run it. (Mine does have that control valve -- very important!) It is a pain to have to get back on and off every time I have to move it, but I love that I can see what it's doing very clearly at all times. Also, I thought I was just going to see a great video about the Baumalight (and it was!), but then I got to see that dadgum PTO Link yet again, and I got a whole new case of the "wannas" all over again! Curse you, Courtney!!! (Just kidding, of course -- bless you for always bringing us such great content!)

Have you ever done a video on servicing the PTO slip clutch? If not, would you do one?

I'd rather use your favorite attachment, a backhoe. Dig the stumps out root and all, fill the hole and then use the stumps for fuel or start a campfire and have a cookout.
@claudenormandeau92113 жыл бұрын
Just curious but I wonder why he doesn't cut the stumps down lower first with a power saw? There is great firewood left behind. Thanks for the video.
@erickperry87213 жыл бұрын
The one taller stump was my first run with the grinder & I wanted to get a good view of what it could do. The rest of the stumps I cut lower. Can’t cut too close to the ground as I’d hit sand & the chain saw would dull immediately.

You can get a flow restrictor and place it in one of the hydraulic lines to the control the speed of rotation of a snow blower chute or any hydraulic motor or ram if your machine is not equipped with a rate control.

Lots of nice Add ons in addition to the stump grinder.

I was #293 like . . . there is nothing better than an informational and product demo on a Saturday from GWT. Seriously, the spandex monster does not understand how I can spend so much time watching equipment work. I've told her that perhaps she would if she painted her fingernails John Deere green! :)

Did you notice the small bird attacking the Eagle ? Common - small birds don't like large birds near them. I wonder if the Eagle attacks the nests - never saw one or heard that. I know the little ones will gang up and go after a Bald Eagle and run them off.

Can you mount the controls to the side? Cab and a bad back, that would not work for me.
@erickperry87213 жыл бұрын
I think that it could be modified for that, not sure about the safety issue, check with Baumalight to see if they could do that for you!
@marclambert29363 жыл бұрын
Does anyone have any idea if you could operate the stump grinder hydraulics from inside a tractor cab with the back window open (specifically on a John Deere 4066R)?
@jerrypedersen82512 жыл бұрын
I have a Kubota L4760 and the 1P24. Works great with the rear window up. If you have the controller lowered to run and you want to move "raise the controllers" or they hit the back of your head. I grind stumps vs pull them as I don't have to deal with a pile of stumps. So far I took out 55 stumps and another 50 to go.

These types of Stump girders you’re featuring are just not great! There’s an Italian model that is WAY BETTER. I think it’s much more expensive, but a very different idea. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5bMZauIn6acqtE. I have a 2038r and don’t really need one, but it looks awesome. Love your channel! On another topic, Any chance you could make your “front hoe” movable. Meaning you have it in the middle. Could a future iteration have it move all the way right or left manually? I’m thinking of trenching with it at the base of a hill or berm to put drainage in, but want it to be right up to the edge vs 3’ from the edge.
@GoodWorksTractors3 жыл бұрын
Good item, typically only see them on higher HP machines. Different strokes for different folks. I see advantages of each. Intentionally don't want the front hoe bucket to be movable. That would provide an uneven force on the loader arms and have a higher liiehood of torqueing or twisting the arms. Maybe not for the experienced operator, but I just don't think it's worth the risk.
@DanD-js8gx3 жыл бұрын
@@GoodWorksTractors ok GREAT point about the front hoe. That’s how inexperienced I am. Makes sense. Thanks for the reply!
