It's so funny how much Ball and Doom benefit from map geometry. Most of these spots can also work for Doom, the big difference being the hit boxes of the two heroes. Doom can bounce off smaller objects because of his smaller hit box while Ball can bounce up off vertical corners cuz he so tubby

this tech is more powerful in the right hands. it does not matter who knows about it. What’s important is getting value out of it. These look very similar to doom roll outs. Extremely easy to mess up and get no value with potential for game changing plays. I’m excited for the noobnuts clips

3:33 For this Oasis one, I want to mention that the hard part (in my opinion) is the redirection that he's adding to it, obviously you need that in order for it to be useful, but the actual superjump itself is pretty easy.

A few of these spots I found just by trial and error, but these are definitely going into practice right away. Hell, I might spend a couple hours just going through each comp map and just trying random ass superjumps for different chokes :D Inb4 I try these in an actual match, whiff hard, fall off the map and get told to switch lmao

I don't find them annoying I only find it extremely tilting when I play DPS in gold and No1 seems so give a crap about the supports who just die over and over yet my dva who flies into 5 people kills No1 and flames the crap out of me says I'm shit because I cannot kill either a bubbled Doomfist on a rollout or a ball with full hp as a cowboy. Asking the DVA to instead use matrix so the supports can't get 1shot results in a I have gold dmg or a I'm diving the supports (alone into a group of 5). This results in me basically having to either perma pocket the supports or just choose to let them die and kill other stuff and hope to god No1 takes to much DMG so we win the fight anyways

I once used that rock spot on lijjang tower after gaining enough momentum and breaking the spawn hold booped 2 people accidentally did the rock super jump and kill another 2 with pile-driver was actually insane and all extremely intentional of course. Booped 1 of the right side of the bridge following up with some1 on the left followed by the rock super jump and a pile-driver lol

If you watch top tier ball player gameplay, they don't actually use that in games. Very rarely is it a viable move when you can so easily fireball through the enemy, gain ult charge, and smash high ground in one grapple. Generally it's more strategically viable to gain that ult charge to cap the first point rather than having the enemy team peel and murk you. In gold and below you can easily get away with it but anything above that you're gonna have a team focus you down real quick, and it's usually not even worth playing ball at that point. Something I liked to do a lot was start as dva, push the entire team back to the point, die (feeding a little) and then grab wrecking ball, smash point, knock any dps off high ground, or go spawn camp the pick from earlier. This tends to scatter and stagger the enemy, almost always get a pick out of it, and the choke point becomes irrelevant. As long as your team is expecting this play, it performs very well. You have to tell your healers not to worry about you as dva though, I find that a lot of moiras and mercys will try to follow a dva in (smh) and if you lose a healer during this play, it falls apart completely, usually it's a team wipe.
