Leonard was way more annoying, and it made them lose the challenge (they say because Beardo was annoying, but except Dave, and maybe sugar nobody seemed annoyed by him). I think thay eliminated Beardo in the first episode instead of Leonard is because they knew that Leonard could be easily eliminated in the second episode, while with Beardo it would have been more difficult

The main problem is there’s no main antagonist. Amy and Scarlett are both antagonists but Amy doesn’t stay long and Scarlett doesn’t stay long in her evil state. Max could be considered an antagonist but not in the same was as Heather or Alejandro.

I always felt like Dave is the main reason why Total Drama Pahkitew Island is a disaster. Except for Jasmine, Sky, Shawn, Sammy and possibly Scarlett, I don't have anything else good to say about this dull, tired, unengaging, uninspired mess of a season. The cast is what really killed it. But it's still insane for anyone to suggest this was worse than All-Stars. That's untrue. Pahkitew had nothing from the previous seasons to ruin. All-Stars went out of its way to disrespect everything fans loved about the series. And destroyed any redeeming value TD still clung to. For me, I have no faith in the upcoming "sixth" season. That season's biggest challenge will be to make sure its all new cast doesn't suck on the same level as Pahkitew's.

All I remember about this season is that Dave was defended by people because how dare Sky not talk about her boyfriend prior to the finale despite how Dave was rude to her and treated her as an object, and that caused problems on the twitter and tumblr. I kind of enjoyed Dave and Sky’s relationship, it seemed like a deconstruction of a fandom’s tendency to make characters that won’t work as a ship into a romantic ship. The saddest part was that this could have been a good season. Sure most of the characters weren’t the typical normal high schoolers you could see. But they could have at the very least tried to make them even likable or even relatable to a degree. And some of these characters weren’t executed well which was the problem . Heck even some of the relationships with some of the character I.e Dave and Sky could have be a good one if they did it well. But no we get a bland and forgettable season. If the show did continue with some better writers we could have seen them redeem a good chunk of the cast into better and likable characters. But sigh 😔.
