50 Tips For Final Fantasy VII Rebirth!

With the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth on PC there is no better time than now to save Gaia. So hopefully this video helps out the new players out there and even some of the veterans.

I tried to finish this video before the PC port was released but that sadly didn't happen. The Tips are mostly sorted from basic ones at the start to advanced tips at the end.

I tried Auto-Cast and almost immediately regretted it. When I needed that party member for a particular spell, I couldn't use it because they automatically spent all of their MP. Also, putting an Auto-Cast on a materia slot is an opportunity cost for some other materia to go there instead.

One tip for the people whos going to play it now on PC: DONT PLAY THE FUCKING MINIGAMES!!!! They're HUGE fillers of the content... at first they may seem unharming, but then they become too much and annoying...

Yeh, I kind of agree. Stagger them or push as many as you can to the endgame. Around 1/3 of the way into the game it hits you with quite a few back to back (like 6 in a row plus’s an optional Tournament ). It’s a noticeable bottleneck. It becomes an issue when you are torn between exploring side content or progressing the story. I enjoyed the side content, but still felt this frustrating tension. It would have been improved if more of this content were gated till late or endgame. Then it wouldn’t have felt like a big distraction. (Edit: just realised I basically responded all this to you in another chat 😅)

I agree it's one of the worst ff titles I've ever played. I actually hateplayed it because I was so mad losing 70€ on this trash.

​@@Kean_Bean nah, hes actually right... i bought it, played like 60% of the game and then took a 6 months break because the fillers are just so annoying... only finished it 5 days ago with a huge "finally it fucking ended"

@@dudlei I guess I’m just more patient. Most of the game was combat & boss fights which I was very into. I left a lot of side content till late or endgame. Then went for the Plat & enjoyed most of it. It does have a problem with the push & pull of side content distracting from the golden path. It would have been better if most of it were gated till endgame (more like the OG). Then if you finish the game & want more, it’s there for you. As it is I think it creates friction between wanting to see it all vs wanting to get on with the main quest.
