I think a lot of these issues are both limitations of the RPG maker engine and developer time, there are so many little things in fear and hunger like the growing herbs thing that I've only heard spoken of one time, there's so much to keep track of and i've tried messing with the combat system in RPG maker, its very blunt on how things are supposed to work, you really have to dig into the scripts to make specific changes to it.

Let's say that this was caused also by how the game was made in the first place, starting from how damage from opponents is determined. Termina instead has more attacks which keep track of your magic defence primarily

To those who care enough: the doors giving you -500 Crit also applies to F&H2. Too bad it doesn't stop you from destroying the gate that leads out into the Temple Site area of Prehevil with the right setup (three Vinushka-Engraved Party Members, one with a Death Mask equipped, Spice Forge for Double Black Orb and First Pyromancy Trick).

I was hoping this list would mention something I've found that I've not see anyone talk about. When you kill the moonless guard in Mahabra. The room with the dead dragon, a copy of that enemy's corpse will show up in the cave dweller village. the area before you walk up the wooden planks that lead you to the void entrance room.

I mean to be fair if a body has decomposed to the point of being bare bones the entire skelleton would have nothing holding it together lol. Having its arm reattached by magic makes just as little sense as watching a skelleton with no ligaments, no muscle and no cartilage staying in one piece

dont know if anyone mentioned this yet, but the loose rocks in Trorturs chamber are where you get to the penance armor. you use steal on Trortur, light all of the skull candles in the level and a passageway will open up in his chamber near the prison entrance

The peculiar doll being able to unequip a ring isn't useless, at all - for example, you can put off going there for the time being, and if you have Ring of the still-blood, and the girl gets an infection, you can put it on her and heal it

@@frapollo94 oh shit lmao I didn't expect the attention-- Well in that case, first and foremost let me say that I love your videos, and the research you do for them is very admirable - I've gathered quite a lot of my f&h knowledge from you And regarding the situation: yeah, it's pretty specific, and useless in most cases - personally I think I actually used it once - but it can still be pretty useful to have as a little backup plan, especially considering that the girl has the whole feature of attracting the attacks directed at characters with lower healthbar. I might have phrased my comment wrong earlier, sorry, I didn't really mean that it doesn't belong in the useless facts video, I more so just wanted to share a use I came up with for it when I first happened to accidentally doscover it I mean, after all, isn't the whole game exactly all about figuring out how to deal with those most random, specific situations? (Anywho once again, keep up the great work, mate, your videos are top notch👌)

For #26, it doesnt actually doubles your defense. It makes it so the Defense debuff will land 200% more than usual. Since they used the Debuff Rate trait instead of Param Rate trait so I'd chalk it up as a developer mistake.

the thing about empty scroll and naming characters strikes me as interesting - can you exit out of it without saving the name? Ie can you enter in 1. O LORD 2. TEACH 3. Something - then for consecutive empty scroll usages escape out of the first 2 and only change the third? Could be a time saver in that one Empty Scroll speedrun lol
