i feel like everyone is playing hardcore and builds big stuff, because the rest has been done 1000 times and without the "fear" of being able to lose everything with a death without a totem the audience wouldnt care. which is paradox because with a raid farm you basically never run out of totems. i guess theres a reason why a lot of people talk about the 2 week mark of servers and that its most of the time the moment people leave, because they've done everything. people have a hard time being creative when you dont lack of any ressource. pvp is basically always the same - more or less - so the only interesting thing here are server wars that get dragged out over weeks. which takes also a lot of planning with other people which can be a chore. i always question anyway if the farms are even necessary given that you cant prove that the creatos dont cheat stuff in so they dont have to afk farms for countless hours. a lot of the creators dont stream, guess why ;)

@@fridex_x445 It may be useless for the viewer because they can be reasonably sure the youtuber won't die. But for the player, you can absolutely still die through a totem if you're careless. And keeping you from being too careless adds a bit of intent behind your choices that make the outcomes feel more worth it. At least to me. If i play smart I'll never die, that's true, but there's more incentive to play smart, which keeps the game from getting too stale. I've found that its too easy for me to slide down the slippery slope of self justification of sloppy play if I'm not punished for it. It slowly becomes more about the outcome of completing my goals rather than the intentional journey and process to achieve them. But that's just my opinion, not everyone's going to share that sentiment.

Remove the blocks between the villagers at their eye level. Helps with discount with their gossip program and you can splash 2 to 3 with just one weakness potion

For the last 4 villagers make them emerald generators, gotta get lucky and get the tier 1 and 2 trades correctly though. They need to trade book cases for emeralds and trade emeralds for books. You can get infinite emeralds out of them this way.

One of the remaining villagers could provide you with food as well, as a farmer. Farmers offer a great amount of food variety, from pumpkie pie, to apples (for crafting golden apples), suspicious stew with Saturation, glistering melon slices (for potions of Healing) and golden carrots (the food with the best saturation). Another is the butcher, giving you rabbit stew, cooked porkchops and cooked chicken. You said that food supplies should be addressed, so I am here to deliver! One other thing: Librarians, when upgraded to Master, will give a name tag. Excellent for if you do not want a mob to despawn. If you ever want a crossbow, a Fletcher can help you with that, you can get crossbows from them by leveling them up to Apprentice level. And crossbows also have enchantments of their own, such as Multishot, Quick Charge and Piercing. For decorative blocks, Shepherds (with wool blocks, carpets and banners, as well as coloured beds) can do just the trick. Although Masons also give you decorative blocks, such as colored terracotta and glazed terracotta. Feel free to consider these!

It’s not useless, it’s straight up a disadvantage. Makes mobs you’re tryna transport die. Makes your durability 4x shorter, and still has the bug where it makes them immune to basic damage if they get hit by thorns(for0.5sec)

Quick note here, if you use IanXO4's instant raid farm (with bottles to make it work in 1.21) it produces around 50-55 emeralds /raid with looting 3, with each raid taking less than a minute not including the 30s raid omen effect. It makes emerald gathering way faster. Downside is its not an afk farm.

bro he cheats in stuff, dont fool yourself. everyone does. its one thing to build something in survival, but a totally other thing to farm all the shit you need just to create a 20min vid out of it. for a lot of people, especially solo players, such builds can take days, even weeks. even with the right farms its a lot of waiting. content creators are not dumb, bro :D

I like how you themed the sections, that's pretty smart. I set up a hall one time with an area for a zombie, but the stacking raid farm made so many emeralds, I never used that feature and only zombified them once. The one I'm working on now doubles as an XP source and emerald source, but I'm still just zombifying them once before I install them.

Instead of creating an emerald farm, wouldn't creating an iron farm and using the iron to trade with weapon smith villagers for emeralds be more efficient? That's how I do it in my world and am genuinely curious which way is faster. With a full inventory of iron (36 stacks), you can get 576 emeralds (9 stacks).

I designed a side by side trading hall with zombies that works very well with incoming trading items just did not put it on you tube yet. So, i wanted to suggest this farm cause youre probably one of the only people who will do it but can you do an ocean farm? Id perimeter an ocean, set up the collection system, place magma blocks, and return it to ocean. The loot is awful but i always make a miniature one in every world for food, tridents, and iron.
