Peanut butter, home made bread, butter. I got flour and honey for free from our farm. Ground the wheat with grandma's mill. Made many loaves per day in a bread machine for 4 guys in a house during college. We wore out that bread machine. It was whole hard red spring wheat blended with white flour from Canada, had to be Canadian white flour back then. We have better flour available here now. One of the roommates was Canadian. This brought back memories. Kept my attention the whole time.

50 bucks is half of 100. When you use any number of dollars from your $50 budget, you can just multiply whatever you spent by 2 to find out what percentage of your budget you've used up. This is because 2x50 equals 100, and therefore your spendings times two equal whatever part of 100 they are. You can use this trick to easily calculate percentages from numbers like 10, 20, 25, 50 as well. If you have a budget of $25, you can just multiply by your spendings by 4 to find out what part of your budget you've used up. Example: Your budget is $20. You spend $3.20. What percentage of your budget have you used? Answer: 20 fits in 100 5 times, so we can simply multiply $3.20 by 5 to figure out what part of 100 it is. You can count 5x3=15, and then 5x0.2=1, and add these together to find out the result of 16%.

My go-to bulking meal is chili with beans made entirely from scratch. Back in the 90's I got 3, 6oz cans of tuna for a $1, down 4-5 cans/day with some salty Lay's chips.(bought 30 cans) Eggs were cheap, got to have them with ketchup, hot sauce or cheese. 1 cheap loaf of bread, done. $30 per week
@Me-wk7dz3 жыл бұрын
Just be careful to not get too much sodium from Lay's chips (bad for heart) and to not get too much cholesterol from eggs

When I was in college. Lived off of cheap dino chicken nuggets, ramen, eggs, eggs, eggs, eggs, oat meal, eggs, spaghetti. I spent under 100$ every week.

Yeah sounds like you spent 20 lol that stuff is cheap as fuck

Should've gotten 14 bags of pretzels and dipped them in peanut butter and pooped once a year until you finally broke down and spent the $6 on prune juice

If you swapped Dino nuggets for chicken breast and ramen for rice that'd be $50 a week
