I’ve been a Porsche addict my entire life I’ve been to Stuttgart many times I’ve done the factory I’ve done the museum. Whenever somebody asks I say Porsches are the finest sports cars in the world but one thing I don’t agree with is putting a turbo badge an electric car. I know according to Porsche Turbo now means fast but I don’t know, it just doesn’t sit right maybe I might grow into it. Anyways it’s just a badge the rest of the car is a masterpiece as always. 🇺🇸 🇩🇪 🫡

Unfortunately, the inclusion of the E car is a major error and completely off track from the point of the video. I had a ‘turbo’ sticker on the back of my FIAT Panda but I knew it wasn’t really a turbo😂

As much as i like the brand "Porsche" and the ICE turbo, it is very disappointing that Porsche uses the "turbo" branding on non-turbo (EV) cars. Porsche should be ashamed of itself. ALWAYS be honest to your customers, don't lie to them

Agreed. They're basically resurrecting the electric shavers and hair-driers from the 1980's that had "turbo" buttons on them... what a way to devalue an iconic badge. Very sad.

Drive a Taycan Turbo S and then tell us again if it starts to make sense, after you’ve also understood the following: The Turbo tag is not about actual „turbos“ being in the cars - even the base 911 has turbos built in nowadays! It’s simply about top level performance why whatever means necessary.

The Taycan doesn't have a turbo, so don't lie to the customer. If you wanna stress the excellent performance off The Tacan, then call it a Taycan "plaid" 😂

Taycan Turbo? How did Porsche engineer a turbo on an EV? Can someone please explain? Thank you...I spent $206K on a 991.2 Turbo S and I consider Porsche labeling an ev car as part of the Turbo brand, an insult. Give the Taycan credit whete credits due. It's an amazing piece of engineering but don't call it a Turbo. That's ridiculous.
