Rules of the challenge:
Normal Nuzlocke Ruleset:
1. Fainting = Death
2. Can only catch one Pokémon on each Route (Species Clause)
3. Nickname Pokémon
Hardcore Nuzlocke Ruleset:
4. No items in battle (held items okay)
5. No leveling past the next gym leader/E4 (at the START of the battle)

That’s a pro idea. I randomly discover it in a Metronome battle when i used Transform into a Mr. Mime ending with x3 his HP… Sadly was a metronome battle so was no use for me 😂

I love how PChal chose a combination that was both a meme and could be used as a strategy. I mean, HP is the only stat that matters for a Pokemon planning to use Imposter/Transform, and then giving it a choice Scarf is actually kinda strong. Depending on what you transform into tho of course

Only certain fire moves that cover the user in fire like Flare blitz and flame wheel will defrost the user.

You kno I have seen several of these egglockes and what I notice is always the problem is that you get busted ass pokemon then just breeze thru the rest of the game with like no challenge. I think a good twist to this would be to do this but with a Kaizo rom hack to increase the difficulty make the stakes higher and the battles more intense. Maybe even for the elite 4 the teams are made up by high level Pokemon nuzlockers/players but with a restrictions of some kind so whilst its difficult its not impossible.

Since Alola is 4 games, which start slow and are loaded with a lot of unskippable cutscenes and dialogue , I don't blame him for holding off. I wouldn't want to do those all back to back either, much less in hardcore nuzlocke format with zero dupes allowed.
