I was lucky enough to get these at the original price of $400. Considering how a single figure from Mezco typically ranges between $85-$125 bucks, I think the original $400 price tag is worth every penny (just might be a sticker shock at first since it includes all 4 turtles). Unfortunately, BBTS has these priced at $550 (not $500, which would still be worth it). I don't support that kind of business...but I guess it beats ebay 🤷‍♂️

I originally ordered them off of big bad toy store when they were 400. Unfortunately, they canceled my order and like you said, I guess it does beat eBay prices. It is gonna kill me but I think I might do it😅

By far my favorite pick up last year (It was last year right?) expensive but you see the money spent. So good I ended up stopping/slowing down my tmnt purchases since nothing hit me the same way after these. Great review and glad you dig them!

These aren’t only the best tmnt action figures of 2024, they’re the best tmnt action figures to have ever been released! No other set of turtles comes close. The only way to top these would be a mirage accurate set with all red bandannas.

I also got these for $400. They are second only to the original 2008 NECA NYCC set that I have. If this set came with a 4th red bandana head it would be the best set ever.

@@michaellee3375I do love those 2008 neca mirage turtles but for me the articulation, details in the sculpt and paint applications on these surpass those. That set is definitely in my top 3 though; #1 being this Mezco set. #2 the RTNY 2023 mirage turtles and #3 the 2008 mirage turtles.

Also if i remember right, the turtles comms open up a bit more, you just have to keep tugging on them after the antennas are full extended. Not sure why they designed them like that, but they will lock into place

I started collecting in late 2024, so i missed these. I have a few nice ones though so I'm ok. If they ever re issue these, I'm getting them. To me they are as of yet, the definitive TMNT set out there. However, the upcoming ling jihun set might take that title away, in my opinion.

I was able to get a set after being Waitlisted. They are very good figures, to be sure. But not worth the $400, and definitely not the best TMNT out there. If these were $50 each or something? That'd be another story. The pleather parts are pretty and add some different texture to the figures, but that stuff is gonna crack and crumble and that worries me.

These are nice figures, but I'll take a hard pass. 500 dollars for 4 5-inch action figures and a bunch of accessories is crazy. Most of these accessories will go straight into the bag or stay in the box. At the end of the day, it's your money and you chose to spend it however you want. However, an average collector isn't going to overpay for something just because you claim it's not a toy but an adult collectable. I'll stick with my NECA TMNT.

You can buy a little block of plastic for cheap I'm sure. But materials aside you are paying an entire team of people to design it, then factory workers to make it, cutting the molds, licensing fees, and so many more that I don't have the time to list here. There are a whole lot more pieces in this pie than just "literally plastic".
