I always did really like these, the 6N & 6N2 are my favourite shape Polos. I think they still look good and have aged well, especially the 6N2 as it's a bit more modernised.

Tomorrow I will take over my mothers Polo 6N like this one! Same colour too. My grandma bought it new back in 1999. She drove this car like a racer! My polo is mostly original. I like it like that. But I can imagine it's not for everybody. I did change the radio too. But I kept the old casette radio, I like to have an oldschool feeling from time to time. My Polo is 2000 km away from 350 000! The engine still runs smoothly. Also on long drives. He drives 600 km in a day easy peasy. He brings me everywhere :) It's nice to watch this video and see what other people changed on their polo's! Oh yeah and you can fit a shitload of stuff in this little bastard. I fit a whole interiour for a Mazda Tribute in it one time!

You can get coilovers for less than 200 bucks for a 6n. Theyre amazing value, if you spend a tad more they get automatic AC, decent power, sporty interior, etc. Sure, you can also get a kw airride setup for 2k. But, lets not.

After 1986 mk2 steering wheel should fit. You can also fit mk3,4,5,6,7 golf or lupo magnesium wheel.

Yep had a 1.4 sx then upgraded to the vtr and then vts. The vts was actually very quick even for today as it was light and handled great. Shame most are crashed or rusted away now.

MC Production if u look on my Chanel I have a mk3 golf GTI engine swapped with a s3 engine that on my videos was at 400 BHP It’s now 2.1 stroker with over 500bhp and a full nut and bolt rebuild not one engine component left standard the engine alone has cost me over £9k in parts It is a super car killer

I have a mk6 fiesta zetec s 1.6 diesel. £30 tax and I get around 50mpg shown on the trip computer when driving on normal roads. Before that I had a Peugeot 107 1 litre petrol which has £20 tax and cheap to run. Insurance I'm sure would be cheap for you 👍.

VW are one of the dearest to insure. The cost of parts are extortionate was worse than when I owned a bmw. servicing is also expensive and regularly things broke and needed repaired when I examined the parts that failed I said no wonder if failed it’s junk This would be the last car I would recommend for a young person.

I’ve got one for my first car and insurance without a black box is only costing me £1400 a year (had the option of £900 with a box but fuuuuuck that) Also parts for these are dirt cheap, bought a distributor for £20 and two door handles for £15. Most suspension components at trade price are like £20-25. Seriously cheap cars to own.
