$500 SAAB 93 ISSUES EP 2, FAILING CONVERTIBLE TOP! HELP!

definitely neutral safety switch, had same problem same car swapped out new switch... no more problems..

The neutral safety switch goes bad and can cause the no start issue. Oil pump gasket I believe could be the cause of the leak.

Losing hydro oil from leaking rear bow ,until you change it it wont work without the correct amount of oil .

The oil is full. I’ll be digging back into it soon. Other projects been in the way

I have a 02 I was having similar issues with my top as well now it won’t open a all and no noise from pump.. hoping to dig into this weekend!

I'd love to hear what you find. I haven't dug into the top too far yet but would love to have it working properly. My pump seems to work fine and is full. It almost seems like some kind of trigger issue but I don't fully know how the system works and it's hard to find good information on these cars

I'm not sure yet. I havent gotten far into the roof yet. Trying to make it a reliable driver first. I will deffinately post a video when I figure it out. Thanks for asking
