Happy new year! Nice fleet! The BR52 was my first Fleischmann loco from a few decades back. Just recently updated it to sound.

Thanks man my first loco was a BR80 in a Fleischmann set which my Mum and Dad bought me and I still have to this day. Good luck and happy modelling for 2022 and thanks for sharing your story.

Meickel mein Freund, es gibt einen Grund, warum ich Deutsche Bahn sammle. Mein Vater war Soldat in Deutschland, als ich in Rinteln geboren wurde, also war mein erstes Set eine analoge Fleischmann BR 80-Lok, die ich noch heute besitze. Als ich aufwuchs, kam ich zurück nach Deutschland, um in der Telekommunikation zu arbeiten, und lernte Flunet-Deutsch, weshalb ich es sprechen kann, obwohl ich es in Deutschland nicht oft spreche. Was hat Sie dazu bewogen, englische Loks zu wählen? Ich bin kein Fan, um ehrlich zu sein, englisches Zeug sieht altmodisch aus. Aber solange es dir Spaß macht, zählt nur das, mein Freund. Alles Gute und danke, dass du dir die Zeit genommen hast, auf meinem Kanal zu posten.

@@ngauging Ich mag die englischen Dampflokomotiven lieber weil Sie nicht so einfarbig sind wie die Deutschen Loks. und ich mag die Architektur ( die Viktorianischen Häuser ) und die leicht hügligen Landschaften Englands. Ich war aber schon lang lang nicht mehr in England. Liebe Grüße Meickel

Love your content. Just curious though, it seems like you only purchase Fleischamnn locos and freight wagons, why not other brands say Minitrix, Brawa or Arnold?

Hey Alex, thanks for taking the time to post on my channel. I do buy other brands here is a video of Hobbytrain kzbin.info/www/bejne/l52XiZZrebV-Z8k and Brawa kzbin.info/www/bejne/eanEkK2liJeDkLc however my experience has been that some of these other brands fall short of my expectations as with the Brawa which I linked the lights were poor and when I spoke to them in person they told me they realised and were addressing it. Just the same as now Fleischmanns quality has also been lowered of late due to them making their stuff in the east. I have collected Fleischmann since I was a young lad, my parents bought for three of us and I got the Fleischmann, whilst my other brothers both got Trix and Marklin. So it has stuck with me over the years so you can blame my parents for my bad habits. The Fleischmann stuff is all the same size too, this is why I do not buy kato and some of the others are smaller and don't match up as well. I have many issues with Trix stuff which I have had to send back over the last year or so which I highlighted on my videos. I have a new Trix/Marklin loco ready to try on my next video, but you will have to stay tuned for that in the future. Enjoy your weekend my friend. Dave B

What size is your layout?

This is 4m by 2m but ill be pulling it apart soon as I have a unit which the current renters are leaving in May. Then ill build a modular layout in there as it much larger than where ive got my track laid down atm.
