I know exactly what you mean about the quality i bought four VTG ferry wagons from Fleischmann and they are shocking the bogies stick and they derail at every opportunity, great video by the way!

Nice review of the AC3s. Just a word of caution regarding the planned upgrade for the HT G1000 with a sound decoder from my own experience with the ÖBB 2070 from HT; it's a real pig to take apart especially the tank for the speaker and you will probably in the process damage your model. As for a sound decoder that fits there is only so far the Zimo MS590N18 which is small enough to fit in the cab. I can ramble on about the problems I had with the HT G1000 series models; let's just say be prepared to buy spare parts when you upgrade.

Hello Dave, love your videos. By any chance do you have any Arnold steam locos in your collection or on order? I've been eyeing their SNCF steam locos along with their CIWL passenger wagons from 2022 as well as 2023, but man, their steam locos make Minitrix and Fleischmann look cheap! And I can't find any English sources for reviews of Arnold's recent steam locos. Any thoughts or opinions?

Hi Mark, thanks for commenting on my channel. Sadly I do not have any steam locos from Arnold they have never made one which I like so hence never owned one. It's only recently that I started buying their locos. Should thew quality drop then I will drop them too. So far have been impressed with everything I have had from them of late. Only sent one box of tankers back which were broken whilst in transit I think. I am not even able to direct you to any other tubers who run them. Sorry my friend. Dave B

@@ngauging indeed. There are locos I bought in the 200 euro range a few months ago, now cost over 300euro - I think thats pure greed. No need to increase prices on existing stock.

Superb new stock. Those wagons are nice.. My roco steel wagons buffers kept coming off on the slightest touch so I copydexed the buffers in no more dropped of buffers.. 🚂🚃🚃🚃jim P.s you could do a mini window sil test track..

Hi Jim I have more rolling stock than DB AG my friend lol. Yeah still undecided what to do I will mull over it while I am having my partition pulled down next week. I am semi excited to get started but I doubt I will be able to start until Autumn as I have to find the materials and plan a decent track layout will be trying to use wintrack software which I bought a few years ago. I have to have a new floor fitted too waiting for them to come and measure up...! I have already done another video which has an amazing Hobbytrain diesel ill upload it over the weekend or early next week mate. Regards, Dave B

@@hovermotion So I have a living and dining room which has a partition which is being removed on the 19th as my son has just moved out. The size of the rooms are 8.2 metres by 3.6 metres. and I am planning on having a Helix at each end and two levels so I can then use train controller 10 to automate it completely. I will also be using track detection and as for track I can still buy it atm. I have tons of track and the thing I may need will be junctions not sure how many. But most of the track is still buyable. So now it's down to me and need to get s shifty on lol. Caveat I love fishing too so that's will kick in again soon hence why I said it could be September before it kicks off mate.

@@ngauging Wow that is some future massive project..It's how I did it except inn the attic, a lot of prep was done even before the floor was layed... The ho scale profi track is becoming rare..

@@hovermotion Yeah it's going to be the same with N track at some point mate. If anything I am surprised they have not come up with a more modern form of n track with the old stuff being wooden sleepers so out of date it's a joke mate!
